In the past, AEW Forbidden Door would be the final pay-per-view before All In London, but things are a bit different in 2026.

AEW Redemption 2026 will become the latest addition to the list of pay-per-views for the company when they hold this event from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.

Considering this is the last stop before Wembley Stadium, there could be some significant shifts in stories in the form of title changes throughout this upcoming pay-per-view.

Here are seven potential title changes at AEW Redemption 2026.

7. Young Bucks Dethrone Adam Copeland & Christian Cage For AEW World Tag Team Championships

At AEW Revolution 2026, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage made their return and attacked their rivals FTR following their win over The Young Bucks.

Following some physicality with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, Cage and Cope had an intense stare down with Matt and Nick Jackson.

Since their comeback, The Bucks have not squared off with the legendary duo in tag team action, while Cage and Cope went on to defeat FTR in an I Quit Match to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Double Or Nothing 2026.

The Young Bucks dethroning Cage and Cope would be fitting and would make for a memorable moment on the AEW Redemption 2026 pay-per-view.

6. Maya World & Hyan Pull Off An Upset Over Divine Dominion For AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships

At the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event, Mercedes Monè defeated Maya World to win the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Finals.

This put an end to World’s meteoric rise in the AEW women’s division in recent weeks following the tragic death of her brother.

Wanting to keep up her recent momentum, Maya needs to be regularly featured on AEW TV moving forward.

Maya teaming with her tag team partner Hyan to challenge Divine Dominion for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships would make for a tough test that could see a title change at Redemption 2026.

5. Brody King Beats Jon Moxley To Win AEW Continental Championship

Another major title match that took place at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 pay-per-view was Jon Moxley vs. Bandido for the Continental Title.

While he gave Mox a run for his money, Bandido eventually came up short against the Death Riders leader and was unable to take the AEW Continental Championship.

After his recent run-ins with Brodido, Moxley might have to contend with another member of the team moving forward.

Brody King challenging and beating Moxley to win the AEW Continental Championship at Redemption would be a culmination of his rise throughout 2026 so far.

4. Darby Allin Takes TNT Title From “The Jet” Kevin Knight

At AEW Double Or Nothing 2026, MJF defeated Darby Allin to win the AEW World Title. Post match, Kevin Knight came out to turn heel by attacking Allin while he was strapped to a stretcher.

Since then, “The Jet” has even joined forces with The Don Callis Family as the newest member of the faction.

Now, Darby is back and wants revenge on Knight, which started with the 12-Man Tag Team Steel Cage Match at Forbidden Door 2026 where “The Jet” fell off the cage thanks to Allin’s booby trapped backpack.

With AEW Redemption 2026 on the horizon, Darby taking the TNT Title from Knight might be the only way to truly get his vengeance after being betrayed by his former friend.

3. Kyle Fletcher Defeats Konosuke Takeshita To Capture AEW International Championship

Konosuke Takeshita finally won the big one when he defeated Kazuchika Okada to win the AEW International Championship at Double Or Nothing 2026.

After this win, Takeshita was confronted by The Don Callis Family and looked to leave the group when Kyle Fletcher made his return and stood beside his Protoshita tag team partner.

However, Fletcher went on to betray Takeshita and viciously attack him with the rest of the Family. Since then, “The Protostar” and “The Alpha” have seemed to be on a collision course.

At AEW Redemption 2026, this feels like the perfect setting for Fletcher to dethrone Takeshita for the AEW International Championship in Montreal.

2. Willow Nightingale Returns To Beat Thekla For AEW Women’s World Championship

To the surprise of many fans, the June 27 edition of AEW Collision featured a vignette with Willow Nightingale training for her in-ring return.

Then on the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 pay-per-view, Nightingale had another video package where she discussed her recovery.

Recent reports have indicated that Nightingale might be back sooner than expected and could make her return in July.

With original plans saying she was set to be part of the AEW All In London title bout, Willow could return to defeat Thekla for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Redemption 2026.

1. MJF Dethrones Kenny Omega For AEW World Championship

At AEW Dynasty 2026, MJF defeated Kenny Omega to retain the AEW World Championship.

This set Omega on a path to rediscover his old self and get another opportunity at the top prize in All Elite Wrestling.

To the surprise of many, Omega is set for a collision course with MJF for the AEW World Title on the July 8 Beach Break episode of Dynamite, rather than their suspected meeting in Montreal for Redemption.

With the stipulation being that Omega will not be able to challenge for the AEW World Title again should he lose, surely a win is on the cards for “The Cleaner.” However, his celebration may be short-lived as there’s every chance MJF could reclaim the gold at Redemption in Omega’s home country, before then taking the gold to All In London in August.
