All Elite Wrestling will return to pay-per-view for the AEW Dynasty 2026 event from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on April 12.
The lineup for this show will surely feature some big time title matches that might feature gold changing hands throughout the evening.
From legends winning titles for the first time in years to long chases for championship coming to a conclusion, these title changes will change the course of AEW moving forward.
Here are seven potential title changes at AEW Dynasty 2026.
7. Adam Copeland & Christian Cage capture the AEW World Tag Team Championships from FTR
At AEW Revolution 2026, FTR defeated The Young Bucks to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Post match, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage made their return to confront and attack FTR in a measure of revenge from their attack on Adam’s wife Beth Copeland at AEW All Out 2025.
Then on the March 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, Cope and Cage announced that they will be challenging FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Dynasty 2026.
This should see Cage and Cope get their vengeance on Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler by winning the titles in the home country of Canada on April 12.
6. The Brawling Birds overcome The Divine Dominion to become the new AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships
Since forming their tag team, The Brawling Birds have proven to be a dominant pairing that have gone undefeated as a duo.
Meanwhile, The Divine Dominion has emerged from the ashes of MegaBad and an injury to Penelope Ford.
At AEW Revolution 2026, Megan Bayne and Lena Kross defeated Babes of Wrath to win the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships.
The Brawling Birds challenging and defeating Divine Dominion could be a nice change of pace, seeing the titles change hands at back-to-back pay-per-views to show anyone can win at AEW Dynasty 2026.
5. Megan Bayne defeats Willow Nightingale to win the TBS Championship
At AEW Revolution 2026, Willow Nightingale did double duty defending her TBS Championship against Lena Kross before teaming with Harley Cameron to defend the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships against The Divine Dominion.
After Divine Dominion captured the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships, Willow Nightingale is no longer a double champion coming out of Revolution 2026.
This win could get Megan Bayne a shot at the TBS Championship against Nightingale at AEW Dynasty 2026.
Wanting to match Willow’s feat, Bayne feels more than capable of becoming a double champion by winning the TBS Title from “The Babe With The Power.”

4. Kevin Knight becomes the new AEW International Champion against Kazuchika Okada
At AEW Revolution 2026, Mistico and JetSpeed defeated The Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis and Kazuchika Okada to win the AEW World Trios Championships.
This marked the second reign for JetSpeed with the Trios Titles and could put both men in position to get shots at the singles champions within the Don Callis Family.
Back in the Continental Classic, Kevin Knight scored easily the biggest victory of his career when he defeated Okada in the Gold League.
“The Jet” repeating this feat against “The Rainmaker” at AEW Dynasty 2026 could see him walk out of Vancouver with the AEW International Championship.
3. Speedball Mike Bailey wins the TNT Championship in his home country of Canada against Kyle Fletcher
Speaking of JetSpeed, Speedball Mike Bailey came up just short in his bid to challenge Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship on the March 11 episode of AEW Dynamite.
This win came due to Fletcher getting some help from Kazuchika Okada, Mark Davis and a title shot to the head.
After Mistico and JetSpeed beating The Don Callis Family at AEW Revolution 2026, this should set the stage for Bailey to get a rematch against “The Protostar.”
Speedball winning the TNT Championship in his home country of Canada against Fletcher makes a ton of sense and would feel like a crowning achievement in his career at AEW Dynasty 2026.

2. Will Ospreay beats Jon Moxley to capture the AEW Continental Championship
Jon Moxley retained the AEW Continental Championship in one hell of a battle against Konosuke Takeshita at AEW Revolution 2026.
Post match, Will Ospreay made his return and went right after Moxley, looking for revenge on the man who cost him six months of his career.
Now with Ospreay looking to prove he can break Moxley’s neck with his bare hands, this should set up an AEW Continental Championship match at Dynasty 2026 on April 12.
Considering all his momentum following his return at Revolution, Ospreay should be able to overcome Moxley to become the new Continental Champion in Vancouver.
1. Kenny Omega dethrones MJF for the AEW World Title
Another major return that took place at AEW Revolution 2026 saw Kenny Omega come back looking for revenge on Swerve Strickland.
On the March 18 edition of AEW Dynamite, Omega issued a challenge to Swerve Strickland to put his number one contendership on the line against him. However, Strickland made a counter offer for Kenny to put his EVP title up for grabs as well.
Now, the March 25 episode of AEW Dynamite will see Omega facing Swerve in a rematch with the number one contendership and EVP status on the line. The winner of this should move on to face MJF for the AEW World Title at Dynasty 2026.
With the event taking place in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, Omega could be the perfect challenger to finally dethrone MJF for the top prize in All Elite Wrestling at AEW Dynasty 2026.
