On March 15, All Elite Wrestling will present their first pay-per-view of the year with AEW Revolution 2026.
This show will set the tone for the company in 2026 and should not only deliver another stacked card of amazing matches, but also some surprises throughout the night.
From long awaited turns to shocking returns and debuts, Revolution 2026 could go down as one of the more significant major shows ever produced by AEW if they give fans some of these memorable moments.
Here are seven potential surprises at AEW Revolution 2026.
7. Jon Moxley Walks Away From The Death Riders
At AEW Worlds End 2025, Jon Moxley defeated Kazuchika Okada in the Continental Classic Finals to win the AEW Continental Championship.
Many fans went into the Continental Classic tournament thinking that the Death Riders would turn on Moxley by the end.
However, Moxley’s win has led to the group having a more solidified foundation and seeming more unified than ever before.
Whether it is due to piled up losses for the other members or his own loss of the Continental Title, AEW Revolution 2026 could see a shift for the Death Riders with Jon Moxley walking away from the faction.

6. Konosuke Takeshita Finally Turns Against The Don Callis Family
Konosuke Takeshita has been at odds with Kazuchika Okada in the Don Callis Family for a number of months now.
This led to Okada defeating Takeshita in a first time ever meeting to advance to the Continental Classic Finals thanks to a screwdriver at AEW Worlds End 2025.
Since then, Takeshita has shown his animosity towards Okada, but has remained with the Don Callis Family.
Needing this story to progress in an impactful way, Takeshita should finally turn on Don Callis and his faction by standing on his own and turning babyface in the process at AEW Revolution 2026.

5. AJ Styles Makes His Debut
At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, GUNTHER defeated AJ Styles to end the WWE career of “The Phenomenal One.”
While Triple H and Peter Rosenberg firmly stated that the former WWE Champion was retiring, it seems like Styles has left the door open for his career to continue after his contract with the company expires.
With the opportunity to come to the one major promotion he has never appeared for, Styles could sign with All Elite Wrestling and reunite with some of his closest friends in the wrestling business.
Styles debuting at AEW Revolution 2026 could see him confronting Kenny Omega to close the loop on their unfinished business or even rekindling his rivalry with Samoa Joe in Los Angeles, California.

4. Mercedes Moné Makes Her Comeback To Take More Than Just Titles
On the December 31 New Year’s Smash edition of AEW Dynamite, Willow Nightingale defeated Mercedes Moné to win the TBS Championship.
The following week on the January 7 episode, Nightingale alongside Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron embarrassed Moné by smashing a cake in her face and leaving her laying, which led to Mercedes deciding to take some time off.
AEW Revolution 2026 should see “The CEO” make her comeback to the company after being off for a few months.
Looking for revenge on those who humiliated her, Mercedes Moné should start her match to finally becoming the new AEW Women’s World Champion down the line.

3. Brody King Betrays Bandido
On the January 14 Maximum Carnage special of AEW Dynamite, MJF defeated Bandido to retain the AEW World Title. After the match, MJF proceeded to attack Bandido until Brody King made the save.
Ever since this bout, King has been on the hunt for MJF’s AEW World Championship, which will come to a head in an Eliminator Match on the February 4 AEW Dynamite.
If Brody loses, this could cause some frustration starting to grow in Brody as his tag team partner Bandido has proven himself to be more successful as a singles star than him.
With this growing animosity inside of the big man, fans could see Brody betray and turn on Bandido at AEW Revolution 2026, leading to a rivalry between the duo known as Brodido.

2. Will Ospreay Returns
Following AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025, Will Ospreay took some time off to undergo surgery on his lingering neck injuries.
This has led to a lengthy absence for Ospreay with many fans wondering when they will see “The Aerial Assassin” make his return.
Ospreay making his return at AEW Revolution 2026 would give the company a huge boost and add one of the best wrestlers back to the roster.
Whether it is getting revenge on Jon Moxley and the Death Riders for their attack at Forbidden Door or setting his sights on the AEW World Title, Ospreay’s return feels like one of the bigger moments the promotion could offer at their first pay-per-view of 2026.

1. Kenny Omega Dethrones MJF To Win AEW World Title
To start 2026, Kenny Omega has firmly announced his intentions to regain the AEW World Championship.
With MJF now holding the gold, he told “The Cleaner” to get his wins up and prove himself worthy of challenging for the top prize in All Elite Wrestling.
Now that he is just two wins away from getting the shot at AEW Revolution, Omega has what it takes to get by both Andrade El Idolo on the February 4 Dynamite and “Hangman” Adam Page at AEW Grand Slam Australia to get the shot on March 15.
Looking to recapture his past glory, Omega feels like a significant threat who has what it takes to be the one to dethrone MJF for the AEW World Title at Revolution 2026.
