With AEW All Out 2025 fast approaching on September 20, there are already some massive returns being teased for the Toronto pay-per-view.
From the return of long absent stars, to the potential appearance of a WWE legend, there could be some incredible surprises lined up for the event.
Here are seven possible returns at AEW All Out 2025.
7. Eddie Kingston

After being out of action since May 2024 due to suffering a broken tibia, torn ACL, and torn meniscus during a match against Gabe Kidd at NJPW STRONG Resurgence 2024 – fan favorite Eddie Kingston is close to returning.
With Big Bill poking the bear by calling out Kingston by name on the September 6 episode of Collision, Kingston took to Threads to accept the challenge, asking Bill to name the date and location.
That date and location has now been revealed to be Saturday, September 20 in Toronto, Canada as Bill vs. Kingston has now been officially confirmed for All Out.
Marking the first time since Kingston has competed in an AEW ring since AEW Dynasty in April 2024, it’s only natural that anticipation is high, and a win over Bill could be the perfect way to kick off this latest run for AEW’s “Mad King”.

6. Gangrel

After making a sporadic appearances for AEW in the past – it would be iconic to see Gangrel make a return at AEW All Out 2025.
With Adam Copeland joining forces with Christian Cage in a tag team bout against FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) – the duo might need an equalizing force on the night to FTR’s heel manager Stokely.
Leaving the perfect opportunity for Gangrel to make a surprise appearance to distract and/or disarm Stoke, the match could become even more fun.
Gangrel reforming The Brood would make for an unforgettable moment and one that would cap off a night of celebration for the legendary team of Cope and Christian Cage.

5. Jack Perry

While he hasn’t been seen in AEW at all in 2025, Jack Perry is not currently out with injury.
Staying silent on anything to do with wrestling, Perry has instead kept fans updated by sharing his craftsmanship skills and penchant for knife making.
Hobbies aside, Jack Perry remains a compelling character with plenty of unfinished business in AEW that could make a surprise return at AEW All Out 2025.
With a recent tease that he tried to contact the Young Bucks on their recent Being the Elite YouTube upload, it could be that “The Scapegoat” is headed back into the fold.

4. Deonna Purrazzo

After being asked about her status with the company at the ROH Death Before Dishonor media call late last month, Tony Khan shared an update.
Noting that he found her to be a “great, great wrestler,” he shared that there was a plan that would have seen her have a match at the aforementioned ROH pay-per-view however due to talent injuries, the creative plan changed.
Potentially able to return to AEW to capture the spotlight, Purrazzo’s momentum could be bolstered by a potential new addition in AEW.
Should Tony Khan elect to finally introduce the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship – Deonna Purrazzo has the tag team experience to rule the division along with an exciting number of partners including potentially Taya Valkyrie or real life pal Britt Baker.

3. PAC

While the Death Riders have continued to evolve in recent months, PAC has been absent due to injury.
Picking up an ankle injury back in April after a match on Dynamite against Swerve Strickland, the English star has been out of action since.
Fans have begun to anticipate his potential return after some preliminary reports from Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer noted he may be out of action for four months.
With that timeline seemingly approaching, it would be exciting to see PAC make a return at AEW All Out 2025 and find out where his allegiances now stand.

2. Private Party

While Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy have not been seen in AEW since January 2025 when they lost the AEW World Tag Team Championship to the Hurt Syndicate – they haven’t officially departed the company yet either.
Despite reports that the duo were set to see their contracts with AEW expire over the summer, both members of Private Party remain listed on the active roster.
While there have been rumors that WWE is interested in signing the duo when they’re available – perhaps they elected to re-sign with AEW after all?
Possibly able to make a surprise return at AEW All Out 2025 – maybe the pair have unfinished business with The Hurt Syndicate or could even return as surprise entrants in the recently announced four-way AEW World Tag Team Title Ladder match.

1. Britt Baker

With AEW Dynamite set to hail from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – hometown of Britt Baker on September 24 – perhaps there is a good reason for the former AEW Women’s World Champion to make a return at AEW All Out 2025.
With AEW All Out set to host a four-way for the AEW Women’s World Championship between champ Timeless Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter, Thekla and Kris Statlander – anyone of the women has potential to leave as champion.
While it remains to be seen who walks out champion, perhaps Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. will be awaiting the winner with a surprise return after the bout.
The same could of course be said for Mercedes Mone’s TBS Championship title defense as the CEO is set to take on Rhio at the event – the aftermath of which could also summon Baker.
