WWE NXT has brought a few free agent signings into the company over the past year.
From Ricky Saints to Blake Monroe, these names have helped to considerably bolster the NXT roster.
Looking at the current free agency market, there are even more stars who could make an immediate impact on WWE NXT upon being brought into the company.
Here are seven potential new WWE NXT signings.
7. Joe Hendry
After making his WWE debut in 2024, 2025 has seen TNA Wrestling’s Joe Hendry make his presence in the company known in an even bigger way.
The former TNA World Champion made an appearance in the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match and then appeared again with his WrestleMania debut against Randy Orton.
While he has shown up on some of the biggest premium live events on the calendar, Hendry has continued to appear on WWE NXT over the past few months.
Hendry officially signing with WWE NXT has felt inevitable after his continued presence on the show and he should become one of the brand’s top stars.

6. Paige
Back in March 2025, Saraya announced her departure from All Elite Wrestling after a three year stint with the company.
Saraya potentially returning to her Paige moniker in WWE could see her return to the brand she originally made a name for herself on – NXT.
When she first debuted in WWE, Paige became a top star on the developmental brand and the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion.
Paige returning to WWE NXT may open the door for her to play any number of roles, such as GM, manager or in-ring competitor.

5. Leyla Hirsch
Back in February 2025, Leyla Hirsch became a free agent when her AEW contract expired after a five year run with the promotion.
With her technical ability and strength, Hirsch is someone who was always able to stand out, whether it be on AEW or Ring of Honor television.
Considering WWE recently had her try out as a referee, it would not be surprising to see her get a chance in the ring.
Signing Hirsch would give WWE NXT another veteran talent who can work with lesser experienced stars from the Performance Center on the brand.

Vincent and Dutch are one of the most unique and eccentric duos in all of professional wrestling today.
After a two-year run with All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor, The Righteous have the exposure that could make them ready for the spotlight of being on WWE NXT.
The Righteous joining the likes of DarkState, OTM and Hank & Tank in the tag team division could help to improve the scene in a significant way.

3. Britt Baker
Outside of Chris Jericho, there has been no one on the AEW roster who has been speculated to leave the company more than Dr Britt Baker, DMD.
After returning to the company in the summer of 2024, Baker found herself back off of television soon after and has been absent from the promotion since November of last year.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion was one of the first signings to the company, so her leaving and joining WWE could lead to some major ramifications for both promotions.
Baker signing with WWE might see her become a prominently featured act on NXT where she can mix it up with the likes of Jacy Jayne, Jaida Parker and Lola Vice.
