On the December 22 edition of WWE Raw, NXT’s Je’Von Evans defeated Rayo Americano in singles competition.
During his entrance to the ring, commentary informed the audience that the WWE NXT star was now considered a free agent and could sign with any brand he chooses.
After using this reasoning as an excuse to highlight “The Young OG,” there could be a few more NXT talents who become free agents to be featured on WWE main roster programming.
Here are seven more WWE NXT stars to potentially become free agents.
7. Ethan Page
Since signing with WWE in 2024, Ethan Page has firmly established himself as a top heel star for the NXT brand.
After winning the NXT Championship just two months after his debut, “All Ego” has remained one of the faces of the Tuesday night show.
Page is now the current NXT North American Champion and even captured the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships alongside SmackDown’s Chelsea Green.
Considering his alliance with Green, it should be easy for Page to become a free agent and start being featured on SmackDown with his Canadian tag team partner.

6. Jordynne Grace
Signing with WWE in January 2025, Jordynne Grace came in with a ton of momentum coming off her successful run for TNA Wrestling.
The three-time TNA Knockouts World Champion is a physical specimen unlike anyone else on the NXT roster and immediately stands out.
Despite signing earlier this year, Grace has not quite figured it out on WWE NXT and may just need to be called up to the main roster to find the success many felt she would get in the company.
Becoming a free agent, fans could start seeing Grace mix it up with the Raw and SmackDown women’s division, including the likes of Rhea Ripley, Tiffany Stratton or Jade Cargill.

5. Blake Monroe
There might not be any other female talent who has come into NXT and made an immediate impact the way Blake Monroe has.
After a highly touted stint with All Elite Wrestling, the former Mariah May came into WWE NXT and immediately staked her claim for gold.
Following her reign as NXT Women’s North American Champion, Monroe might be ready to be showcased on Monday and Friday nights.
Wanting the spotlight for herself, Monroe could be the next free agent from NXT who starts to leave their mark on WWE Raw and SmackDown.

4. Jacy Jayne
For much of her run on WWE NXT, Jacy Jayne was known for her time in different factions like Toxic Attraction, Chase U and Fatal Influence.
However, 2025 proved to be the most important year in Jayne’s career as she has been elevated into the main title picture.
Becoming a two-time NXT Women’s Champion and former TNA Knockouts World Champion, Jayne has sat atop of the NXT women’s division for the majority of the year.
Now looking poised to take the next step in her career, Jayne should be shifted over to Raw or SmackDown where she could further her own development in WWE even more.

3. Ricky Saints
Another recent NXT signing that has gone on to instantly make an impact on the brand is Ricky Saints.
Winning the NXT North American Championship just one month after his debut, Saints quickly established himself as a top star in the waiting.
It took less than a year for Saints to eventually get himself into the main event scene by defeating Oba Femi to win the NXT Championship at No Mercy 2025.
Following his loss of the title at NXT Deadline 2025 and recent heel turn on Je’Von Evans, it might be the best time for Ricky Saints to get called up to the WWE main roster as a free agent to be showcased in a significant way on Raw or SmackDown.

2. Trick Williams
Over the past two years, Trick Williams has been showcased on the WWE main roster in several different ways.
Whether it be making a quick run-in or a promo to hype up the next episode of WWE NXT, Williams has showcased his impressive charisma and talking ability every time he appears.
Growing a connection with the audience unlike any other NXT star, Williams feels ready made for the next stage of his development and progression in WWE.
After two reigns as NXT Champion and a memorable run with the TNA World Title, it feels like the ideal time to make Trick Williams a free agent and start featuring him on the WWE main roster in a more consistent manner.

1. Oba Femi
At the December 13 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Oba Femi faced Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in his main roster in-ring debut.
The current two-time NXT Champion has been the dominant force on the brand over the course of the past three years.
Exerting his dominance unlike anyone before him, “The Ruler” has showcased that he is more than ready and prepared for the WWE main roster.
Whether it be Raw or SmackDown, Femi should become a free agent and mix it up with the main roster talent, such as Drew McIntyre, Sheamus or even GUNTHER.
