WWE Raw on Netflix

WWE is prepping for quite possibly the most important episode of TV in the company’s history with the upcoming Raw on Netflix premiere on January 6.

While huge matches are being announced for the show, they have also teased that fans will see some new stars make their arrival also.

From former AEW talent looking for a fresh start or TNA Wrestling stars getting a chance to deliver on the big stage, the free agency market has a number of competitors who can add a lot to Monday Night Raw.

Here are seven potential debuts for WWE Raw on Netflix.

7. Penta El Zero Miedo

On the December 16 edition of WWE Raw, there was a vignette that aired showing a fiery circle with a slash being marked through.

This video led to many fans believing that it was the first teaser from WWE for former AEW star Penta El Zero Miedo.

After leaving All Elite Wrestling following his contract expiration, Penta will be looking to hit the ground running over in the biggest promotion in wrestling.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champion making his debut on the Raw Netflix premiere will help to make him feel like a big deal immediately and give him a strong start in a new company.

6. ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey

Another free agent who could be looking at WWE as a new home is TNA Wrestling star ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey.

Following his TNA contract expiring, reports indicated that Bailey was expected to sign with All Elite Wrestling, but there is no confirmation of a deal being offered or pen being put to paper.

Bailey is one of the most exciting and thrilling in-ring competitors in the business today, and someone who could deliver instant classics with an array of talent on the WWE Raw roster.

From top stars like GUNTHER and Seth Rollins to up-and-comers like Dragon Lee and Bron Breakker, the former X-Division Champion could become an immediate factor on WWE Raw due to his excellent in-ring spectacles.

5. Wes Lee

WWE NXT star Wes Lee

Ahead of the December 16 WWE Raw TV tapings, current NXT star Wes Lee appeared in a match on WWE Main Event.

Despite coming out of that match banged up, this could be viewed as good news with Lee getting a look on the main roster.

This could be a sign that Lee is heading to the main roster, more specifically joining the Raw roster ahead of the Netflix premiere to fill in gaps up and down the card.

Lee is an exceptional in-ring worker who has consistently delivered for the NXT brand over the past three years and could continue to be a reliable competitor for Monday Night Raw.

4. Josh Alexander

When looking at the TNA Wrestling roster, there might not be another male star who is ready made for the bright lights of the WWE main roster than Josh Alexander.

The former TNA World Champion has impressed fans all over the world with his superb technical wrestling ability and hard hitting encounters against a variety of stars.

“The Walking Weapon” has only further improved following his rise to the top of TNA Wrestling and could become someone who could do the same on WWE Raw.

While perhaps the most unlikely on this list due to his February TNA contract expiry, perhaps WWE can work something out with the promotion they have partnered with throughout 2024, paving the way for Alexander to make a shock debut on Raw.

3. Jordynne Grace

One final TNA Wrestling star that has to be considered for a formal main roster introduction is Jordynne Grace. Following her debut in the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble, Grace further made her presence known in the company with various appearances on NXT.

However, Grace is set to become a free agent when her TNA Wrestling contract expires in January, so it seems logical to assume “The Juggernaut” could look to WWE as her next home.

The former three-time TNA Knockouts World Champion is an absolute powerhouse who has speed, power and precision in the ring.

Seeing Grace lock up with Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY or Raquel Rodriguez should off some physically intense battles that put the TNA Wrestling star on the map.

2. Trick Williams

WWE NXT has been centered on the rise of Trick Williams for over a year now.

This push has helped Williams cultivated a unique connection with the fanbase that has launched him into superstardom, easily standing tall as one of the most popular talents to step foot in the NXT brand.

With two reigns as the NXT Champion under his belt, all Williams has left to do is make his official WWE main roster debut.

After a SmackDown appearance earlier in 2024, WWE management can’t wait to bring Williams to Monday Night Raw where he could become the most popular young star in the company today.

1. Roxanne Perez

WWE NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez

While she has been among the top stars on the NXT brand since signing with WWE in 2021, Roxanne Perez has showcased versatility in the ring and as a character.

Going from the likeable, plucky underdog babyface to a cocky, narcissistic heel champion, Perez has evolved before fans’ eyes in the past three years.

Monday Night Raw just introduced the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship and could add the most “can’t miss” prospect on the roster today with a call-up for Perez.

Perez joining the likes of Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch on a revamped Raw women’s division could start her rise to the top on WWE’s main roster.
