7 Debuts At WWE Night Of Champions 2025

With WWE Night of Champions 2025 fast approaching on June 28 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – there could certainly be some surprise debuts in the works.

From NXT stars making their main roster PLE debuts to signings making their long-awaited first appearances, there are some intriguing choices for the big event.

Here are seven potential debuts at WWE Night of Champions 2025.

7. Ricky Saints

While he’s put in show stealing performances in NXT since debuting in February – Saints is clearly poised for bigger things in the future.

Whether it be aligning with top babyfaces or heels, Night of Champions could be the perfect stage to introduce Saints.

Having been referenced already on WWE TV before, as being well regarded by both Cody Rhodes and CM Punk, Saints has an immediate storyline if he were to debut and turn heel on either of his mentor figures.

There’s also reports linking Saints to potentially joining Seth Rollins’ new faction, a move that would be surprising for sure but also one that would immediately launch him into one of WWE’s top angles.

6. Hikuleo

Although Hikuleo has been signed to WWE since July 2024, he hadn’t made a debut in front of WWE crowds until last Friday’s SmackDown (June 13).

With another dark match under his belt on Friday, it seems likely that the former NJPW star’s arrival is imminent.

Bringing his impressive stature and lineage, the 6 foot, 8 inches tall star is the son of Haku and half-brother of Tama Tonga, regarding Tonga Loa as an adopted brother as well.

Since Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa have begun feuding with one another, perhaps a brand new enforcer is headed to Night of Champions to pick his side in the familial fight.

5. Oba Femi

Easily able to make the leap from NXT to the main roster, Oba Femi could become a viable contender to any of the singles titles on the main roster.

Whether that be attacking someone backstage to get himself into the King of the Ring tournament, or even debuting as a brand new member of Seth Rollins’ growing faction with Bron Breaker and “Big” Bronson Reed – there are many ways to make it happen!

While there are other NXT call-ups that arguably make more sense or could more easily be integrated into an existing storyline – sometimes the best arrivals are out of nowhere.

Given his popularity with audiences – Oba Femi could easily make a big splash at the event with very little storyline explanation necessary.

4. Ethan Page

Another NXT star that seems poised to graduate to the main roster imminently is ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page.

Demonstrating that he has both the in-ring abilities and interview skills to make an impression on audiences, his time in NXT seems to be winding down.

While Page’s call-up could wait until the upcoming 2025 WWE Draft, similarly to Ricky Saints his history with other WWE characters makes him an easy fit to join an existing storyline.

Also rumored to be internally considered for inclusion in Seth Rollins’ power faction, perhaps speculation could become reality at Night of Champions.

3. Lance Anoa’i

After wrestling for several years on the independent scene, including in MLW’s Samoan SWAT Team – Lance Anoa’i signed with WWE in the summer of 2024.

Similarly to Hikuleo, the star has yet to make his official in-ring debut but for a known reason. Anoa’i picked up an injury shortly after signing with the company.

There are some promising signs that he could be getting back into in-ring readiness soon with the star taking to social media to document his workouts.

Whether Anoa’i ends up involved in the new Bloodline feud between Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa, or perhaps instead the return of Roman Reigns – he will certainly have big things in his future once he does arrive in WWE.

2. Brie Bella

Admittedly more a re-debut or return than a proper debut, it has been reported that Brie Bella and WWE are in talks regarding the former Divas Champion returning to the company.

Brie’s sister Nikki Bella has not been announced for an appearance yet at WWE Night of Champions, but seeing her back in singles action at the event would make total sense.

However given the recent hiccup regarding her potential feud with Liv Morgan, it remains to be seen who Nikki will transition into a program with next.

Whether Nikki competes in Riyadh or not, a return for Brie Bella on June 28 could be a fun opportunity for the twins to reunite in WWE ahead of Evolution next month.

1. Paige

While she hasn’t been seen on WWE TV in quite some time, it could be the perfect time for former AEW Women’s World Champion Saraya to return to WWE under her Paige character.

With WWE Evolution 2025 under a month away, Night of Champions would be a great place for that return to happen.

Poised to confront any number of the current women on the roster, it would also be great to see the former Divas Champion align with new stars too.

Just being on hand to present the winner of the Queen of the Ring tournament with her prize could be enough to launch a new storyline in WWE for this familiar face.
