WWE NXT is on the road to the Battleground premium live event from Tampa, Florida on Sunday, May 25.
As we approach Battleground, stars could come and go, babyface and heel turns could transpire and new champions could be crowned – all changes that could leave NXT looking very different by the end of the month.
Here are seven potential changes to WWE NXT we could see soon.
7. Roxanne Perez & Giulia’s Exit

On the April 21 WWE Raw After WrestleMania 41, Giulia made her main roster debut to align with Roxanne Perez in an attack on IYO SKY and Stephanie Vaquer.
Since then, the two former NXT Women’s Champion have become a soft alliance on the WWE main roster, targeting the upper echelon on the Monday Night Raw brand.
However, the two women might not be a duo for too long after their loss to IYO and Rhea Ripley in tag team action on the May 12 episode of Raw.
This should still lead to both Perez and Giulia both exiting NXT for good and moving to the WWE main roster where they could potentially become main event level stars in their own right.

6. Stacks Creates His Own Family To Battle Tony D’Angelo

At NXT Stand & Deliver, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo turned heel on Tony D’Angelo to cost him the trios match against Dark State.
Since then, Lorenzo has seemingly took out Luca Crusifino, while D’Angelo has put Adriana Rizzo into hiding to take care of this issue.
With D’Angelo set to compete in his first match since this betrayal against Wes Lee on the May 13 episode of NXT, fans might see Stacks make his return to the show and officially ignite the flame of his rivalry with his former boss.
Stacks could even create his own family to counteract Tony D, solidifying his promotion from The Underboss to the new Don of NXT.

5. ZARIA Turns On Sol Ruca

Another huge moment at NXT Stand & Deliver saw Sol Ruca win the six-way ladder match to become the new NXT Women’s North American Championship.
In the weeks since the PLE, ZARIA has been defensive and protective over her friend Ruca, and stars looking to get a shot at her gold.
While this could all be the Australian star being a good friend, it could also likely lead to Sol being betrayed by her tag team partner.
ZARIA turning on Sol Ruca should be a shocking moment that is built to over the next weeks and months to come, but when it does happen, it could be a crucial feud for the NXT women’s division moving forward.

4. Darkstate Goes After Hank & Tank’s NXT Tag Team Championships

On the May 6 episode of WWE NXT, Darkstate defeated the team of Joe Hendry, Hank & Tank in a trios match.
After Cutler James, Osiris Griffin and Dion Lennox scored the pinfall victory over the NXT Tag Team Champions, it should lead to the disruptive force going after their first gold on the brand.
Depending on what combination of stars from the group step up, Darkstate could become a freebird style tag team that makes it unpredictable for any other tandem to prepare for.
Hank & Tank’s reign as champions just started at Stand & Deliver, but it feels like it will not be long before Darkstate are holding their first championship since their arrival earlier this year.

3. No Quarter Catch Crew Split

On the May 6 episode of WWE NXT, Myles Borne won the 25-Man Battle Royal to become the number one contender to face Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at Battleground on May 25.
In what was easily the biggest win of his career thus far, Borne’s victory was almost taken away from him when his No Quarter Catch Crew leader Charlie Dempsey claimed that the opportunity would go to him instead.
After Borne set Dempsey up to face Oba Femi in a non-title singles match on the May 13 episode, it looks like two members of NQCC are at odds.
With Myles set for the big title bout at Battleground, the result of that contest might lead to a permanent split for No Quarter Catch Crew coming out of the Tampa event in a few weeks time.

2. Jordynne Grace Captures The NXT Women’s Championship

Jordynne Grace looks set to take her place at the top of the NXT women’s division coming up at Battleground in Tampa.
Picking up a huge victory over Giulia on the May 6 edition of WWE NXT, Grace will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women’s Championship on Sunday, May 25.
This first time meeting should be the headline bout and could lead to a big title change, one that could have long term effects on the NXT brand.
If The Juggernaut is able to capture the NXT Women’s Championship, it will inevitably lead to Vaquer moving up to the WWE main roster with her being a perfect fit for the Raw or SmackDown women’s division.

1. Trick Williams Becomes New TNA World Champion

It is arguable that the top rivalry over on WWE NXT has been the ongoing issues between TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and Trick Williams.
After attacking Hendry at TNA Rebellion, Williams has officially become a heel and has been getting under the skin of TNA Wrestling.
With the two men set to meet for the TNA World Title at Battleground, it could lead to a historic title change in Tampa, Florida.
Trick defeating Hendry for the TNA World Championship will mark the first time an active WWE star has won the top prize in the company and could totally change the feel of this interpromotional partnership.
