MJF is one of the biggest stars in All Elite Wrestling and the current AEW World Champion.
Being at the mountaintop of the company, Maxwell Jacob Friedman could start his own faction to help him remain at the very top of Tony Khan’s promotion.
While his history with factions is not the best, Friedman could start a new stable that could become a prominently featured act in AEW.
Here are seven AEW stars to potentially join a new MJF faction.
7. Wardlow
Wardlow made his AEW debut in November 2019 and immediately formed an alliance with MJF.
As the bodyguard to Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Wardlow helped MJF rise through the ranks in short order.
However, Wardlow would eventually betray MJF, leading to a rivalry between the two men. After leaving MJF’s side, Wardlow would ultimately become a TNT Champion and garner success on his own.
While the three-time TNT Champion is currently sidelined with a torn pectoral muscle, Wardlow could return to reunite with MJF in a new faction in All Elite Wrestling.
6. Paid In Full (Big Bill & Bryan Keith)
Big Bill and Bryan Keith formed a partnership as proteges to Chris Jericho in The Learning Tree faction.
After Chris Jericho decided to take some time off from All Elite Wrestling, he abandoned both Bill and Keith.
In Jericho’s absence, Bill and BK started to refer to their tag team as Paid In Full and continued to make their name in AEW on their own.
Being the person who introduced Big Bill to AEW, MJF could start his new faction alongside Paid In Full in the near future.
5. Alec Price & Jordan Oliver
At the start of 2026, Alec Price and Jordan Oliver became the latest stars to sign with All Elite Wrestling.
Their signing was originally announced by MJF following his AEW World Title defense against Price on a Limitless Wrestling show.
Price and Oliver, better known as Bustah and The Brain, have become known as one of the most exciting duos on the independent scene over the past year.
After opening the door to sign with AEW, MJF could recruit Price and Oliver to join forces with him in a new faction sooner rather than later.
4. Harley Cameron
In a recent interview, MJF spoke about Harley Cameron and praised her as a top breakout star in the company.
Calling Cameron a future AEW Women’s World Champion, MJF viewed her as “the most improved women’s wrestler in the world today” and “a triple threat.”
Cameron has proven herself in every way, even becoming an inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion alongside Willow Nightingale.
Now that the Babes of Wrath have gone their separate ways, Cameron could find a new opportunity alongside MJF in his new faction in AEW.
3. Kris Statlander
Another AEW star who has received a ton of praise from Maxwell Jacob Friedman in the past is Kris Statlander.
Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2019, Statlander has been one of the most reliable and dependable in-ring performers in the entire company.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion has recently been going through a downswing after losing her title to Thekla in February.
Wanting to find a renewed spark in the company, Statlander could look to her longtime friend and one of the top stars in the promotion in MJF to regain momentum in a significant way.
2. The Demand (Ricochet & Gates of Agony)
MJF is someone who is very active on social media and usually interacts with several other AEW stars in the process.
One of those names that he has often interacted with as of late is Ricochet, trading praise with one another consistently.
Ricochet has started his own faction with Gates of Agony’s Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona called The Demand.
Combining their forces together to make a supergroup, MJF could unite with The Demand to take over All Elite Wrestling moving forward.
1. FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) & Stokely Hathaway
Back in 2021, MJF formed his own stable alongside Wardlow, Shawn Spears and FTR called The Pinnacle.
Despite their prominent role in the early days of the faction, The Pinnacle did not last too long and eventually went their separate ways.
While their time together was short-lived, it feels like MJF and FTR would make a match made in heaven combining their heel forces together in one group.
With his own history with the reigning AEW World Champion, Stokely Hathaway could unite MJF and his current clients in FTR as a mega faction which could become the most dominant force in the entire company.
