While he remains unannounced for the show, rumor has it that Goldberg is poised to make his WWE Raw on Netflix debut ASAP.
With the June 16 episode rumored to feature an appearance from the WWE legend – he may need some back-up on his return to the company.
Here are six stars that could possible join a new WWE faction led by Goldberg.
6. CM Punk
Let’s get this one out of the way as potentially the more unlikely but also – an incredibly entertaining prospect.
With fans speculating that perhaps one path to re-introduce Goldberg to audiences would be joining forces with CM Punk to take on Seth Rollins’ dastardly faction – the suggestion could be in jest.
Since it would be amusing to see the notable Bret Hart fan Punk teaming with the Hitman’s mortal enemy Goldberg – it sort of fits into the storyline.
That is however only if Goldberg has a bone to pick with Rollins, Breaker, Reed and Heyman – otherwise Punk’s allegiance is unlikely necessary to take on Goldberg’s rumored upcoming opponent.

5. Wardlow
If the rumors prove to be true and it will end up being Goldberg challenging GUNTHER for the WWE World Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12 – one way to bolster the veteran’s chances would be to introduce a new monster-in-training.
Considering that Wardlow hasn’t been seen in action in AEW since March 2024 – it stands to reason that perhaps his time with the company is coming to an end.
Since Wardlow’s AEW contract status is still unknown with neither the star nor Tony Khan giving any word on the matter – it could be improbable that Wardlow may join Goldberg in WWE – but not entirely impossible.
Just in case – Goldberg should probably elect to recruit Danhausen since it has been reported his contract is up with AEW in July.

4. Creed Brothers
On a more serious note, Goldberg would likely look to recruit some young and powerful WWE talent to flank him during this retirement run.
There would be no better tag team to be a back-up for Goldberg as he takes on the dastardly Austrian GUNTHER than the Creed Brothers in their current American Made iteration.
Leaning into the June – July timeframe of the appearance of the veteran star and bringing some Fourth of July Americana to the party – The Creed Brothers would be a viable threat to fend off GUNTHER.
It is unclear whether or not El Grande Americano or Chad Gable would be willing to join a faction helmed by Goldberg but anything is possible!

3. Otis & Akira Tozawa
Also seemingly available for back-up support for Goldberg might be Chad Gable’s former WWE faction, Alpha Academy.
While the pair of Otis and Akira Tozawa retained the name to the group, they could easily re-tool their image to be in that of the likeness of Goldberg.
The duo have not only the comedic chops but moreover, the wrestling ability to make fending off any run-ins meant for Goldberg both entertaining and believable.
Since the pair of Otis & Tozawa are already beloved fan favorites – they definitely have the ability to get fans on their side in any fracas that may come their way

2. Jey Uso
Presuming that the seeds that were planted back at October 2024’s Bad Blood come to fruition and there is actually a GUNTHER vs. Goldberg match on the horizon – Jey Uso could be a great ally for the latter.
After having just engaged in multiple battles with GUNTHER, Jey is certainly equipped with the recent experience against the current WWE World Champion.
Also with the crowd support squarely still on his side even after his heartbreaking defeat at the hands of GUNTHER – he could certainly ensure that fans played nicely with Goldberg.
While it is possible Uso will be occupied having a long awaited reunion with Jimmy Uso – perhaps a short stop as a tag-team partner for Goldberg would be appropriate.

1. Omos
The biggest unsolved mystery in WWE of 2025 isn’t who will face Goldberg for his final match – it is where in the world is Omos!?
After having last been seen in action in WWE in April 2024, the star began 2025 with a series of appearances in Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan.
Although the spell in Japan was considered successful, he didn’t end up making any big return to WWE as was assumed to be planned at some point.
It would make sense for Omos to spring into action as a tremendous bodyguard for Goldberg – able to easily fend off any interlopers that could try and strike the veteran.
