6 WWE Stars To Be Repackaged

While some WWE stars are reaching new heights of popularity, others could benefit from being refreshed or repackaged.

There are some names that haven’t quite caught on yet, whereas others have already achieved significant heights in their careers but now need something entirely fresh to do.

Here are six WWE stars that could be repackaged.

6. Karrion Kross

With a recent swell of fan support, it remains to be seen if there are any big storylines on the horizon for Karrion Kross in WWE.

However, if he were to be repackaged it would be a great time to do so, as fan interest is high having recently expressed his frustration with the company publicly.

Potentially able to align with the likes of Drew McIntyre or potentially even Seth Rollins, Kross could pivot to a more ‘reality based’ approach.

Continuing to create social media buzz and tie together storylines through being a central backstage manipulator who is just as committed to stirring the pot as winning matches could be very compelling.

5. Becky Lynch

Since returning at WrestleMania 41 and subsequently turning heel on Lyra Valkyria, Becky Lynch has been on an undeniable return run.

However, there are some missing details to this iteration of Lynch – largely resuming the same presentation, entrance and graphics as ‘The Man’, her motivation for being a heel is yet to be entirely revealed.

Her egocentrism in her promos is backed up by literal achievements, making her heelish narrative of being better than Lyra Valkyria fall flat.

Perhaps waiting to fully flesh out a new character against a more equitable rival – like Bayley or Charlotte Flair for example – Lynch needs a re-invention, otherwise she runs the risk of becoming uninteresting.

4. Austin Theory

Austin Theory is highly touted amongst his peers and industry veterans alike, but since joining the main roster, he has yet to catch fire with fans.

While he was briefly aligned with Seth Rollins in 2020, he would go on to become an on-screen protege of Mr McMahon a year later, before later being partnered in the heel tag-team A-Town Down Under with Grayson Waller.

With heel John Cena still reigning over WWE, now is a very unique opportunity for Austin Theory to use his history with Cena as a way to actually propel him into becoming a top babyface.

Perhaps able to capture fan support – and also dispel past criticism by Cena about him being disingenuous – a motivated Austin Theory might be able to play a great underdog babyface role against the current John Cena.

3. Charlotte Flair

After returning from a long absence due to a potentially career ending injury, Charlotte Flair didn’t quite receive the warm reception that was expected from fans.

While the lead-up to WrestleMania 41 was seemingly supposed to set her up as the babyface in the feud after her return from injury, instead fans rallied behind champ Tiffany Stratton.

Shifting back into her more heelish persona, Charlotte Flair has made on-screen appearances since WrestleMania 41 but there hasn’t really been any notable change to her presentation or character.

Due for at least an update, the previously touted shift into the ‘Top Girl’ era of Flair has seemingly fallen short. Perhaps benefitting from a re-invention, Flair could find a way to channel the top girl energy into something new and interesting, as she herself has even suggested taking a more ‘real’ approach and incorporating her real self instead of playing up the typical Charlotte Flair heel character so much.

2. Omos

After having successfully competed in Japan and capturing a title in NOAH, Omos announced he was returning to WWE.

However he has yet to actually make a return to TV – still being last seen in the 2024 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal ahead of WrestleMania 40.

While his on-screen presence was very strong and silent, what some fans may not realize is that in media and other appearances outside of mainline WWE TV, Omos is incredibly engaging and fun to listen to.

It would likely be a positive for all involved if he was able to incorporate that side of himself into his on-screen WWE return.

1. Jimmy Uso

While the Bloodline storyline continues on SmackDown with new dynamics in the New Bloodline stable, the OGs have largely gone their separate ways.

However the odd man out seems to be Jimmy Uso – with Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn otherwise occupied by their own singles pursuits, Jimmy hasn’t had a meaningful singles run.

Whether or not a singles run is in the cards for Uso, he could definitely be repackaged a bit in order to give him more clear direction and a feud that has nothing to do with the Bloodline.

Perhaps now is the time to revisit Jimmy’s character having been left behind and having fans get behind where he may be headed next.
