6 WWE Stars To Be Repackaged After WrestleMania 41

WWE stars Bayley and Bianca Belair

With the dust settling on WrestleMania 41, it may be time for WWE to hit the reset button on the characters of certain stars on the roster.

With a remarkably short ‘off-season’, WWE continues on after the Grandest Stage of Them All, but there are a few remaining questions and intriguing actions that are still left to be explained.

Here are six stars to be repackaged after WWE WrestleMania 41.

6. Bianca Belair

After failing to capture the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 41, it seems as though there could be a heel turn in the future for the EST.

With many fans expecting Belair to reunite with her former friend Naomi and for a new alliance of evil – it may not have to get to all that!

Bianca Belair can turn heel without having to become as deranged as Naomi – rather, if she almost reluctantly agrees to go along with any heelish antics, she could have an out in the future.

Or she could just fully turn to the dark side and stop caring about what anyone, including the fans, might think of her dastardly actions.

5. LWO

After Zelina Vega was transferred to SmackDown via the WWE Transfer Window at the start of the year, the LWO was left down one member.

Now that Rey Mysterio is out of action due to injury, the only members that remain are Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro and Dragon Lee.

While they were most recently in action against American Made and El Grande Americano, it might be time for this particular group to be retired, or rebranded.

With Dragon Lee better suited as a singles star, Wilde and del Toro could resume their former tag team but with a different name and gimmick, or perhaps even go their separate ways.

4. Bayley

With fan uproar regarding Bayley being pulled from WWE WrestleMania 41 after a “backstage attack” saw her replaced by Becky Lynch – perhaps it is time for a character shift for the Role Model.

While she remains a fan favorite regardless of her babyface or heel leanings, Bayley’s current character is back to being a “good friend” rather than having any substantive motivation of her own. But with Naomi turning bad and Bianca Belair presumably still hating her there isn’t many people left on her side, apart from maybe Lyra Valkyria.

If she finds a renewed reason for competition or has a specific goal she’s chasing, her character is more compelling, with rivalries on the table with multiple women on the roster.

Perhaps able to lean in to the female version of Seth Rollins’ new gatekeeping mentality, Bayley could look to prevent potential newcomers like Giulia or Roxanne Perez from the main roster before they’ve gone through her first.

3. Fallon Henley

With Fallon Henley’s Fatal Influence stablemates Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx starting to distance themselves from her, it seems the time may be here for the former WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion to receive a main roster call-up.

While she doesn’t need a lot of repackaging – her current character isn’t one of the more cohesive in terms of styling and personality, so she may benefit from some slight shifts if a call-up is planned.

Henley works well as a heel but she was also popular as a country girl next-door character – a niche that definitely is not occupied on the main roster currently.

Her zippy in-ring work can make her a fan favorite in a short period of time if she is given the chance to shine on Raw or SmackDown with a clear gimmick.

2. Zelina Vega

Zelina Vega has a rare opportunity to have her real life impact her professional life in a positive sense – entirely repackaging herself and appearing alongside husband Aleister Black upon his return.

Vega was an iconic manager for Andrade in the past and is a known slayer on the mic in her own right, eviscerating several people including ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio and Chelsea Green.

Should she take her skills to the seemingly mysterious and spooky return set for Aleister Black on SmackDown, she could also use the character shift to change direction.

Vega has so many upsides that it is hard to see how she isn’t factored into storylines more regularly – so a repackage may be just the way to reintroduce her. Vignettes for Black have noticeably been airing in close proximity to Vega’s WWE TV time, so maybe there is substance to this rather than sheer hope.

1. Trick Williams

While Trick Williams seems poised to turn heel in NXT ahead of his main roster call-up, the repackaging is somewhat slight and could perhaps go further.

With understandable frustration, Trick could reunite with Carmelo Hayes – now understanding the latter’s perspective more from his last days in NXT and proceed to dominate on the main roster as a tandem.

Formidable foes for the current WWE Tag Team Champions the Street Profits immediately, it would be great to see Trick and Melo reunite, before then going on to feud once again.

Alternatively, have Trick go full heel and join Seth Rollins’ new heel faction along with Bron Breakker. Rollins has said that the future of professional wrestling goes through him and Trick is one of WWE’s leading lights.
