With WWE Money in the Bank 2025 just ahead on June 7, there are some WWE stars that are seemingly not going to be part of the event.
For a variety of reasons, there is a compelling list of popular WWE stars that are set to miss the show.
Here are six WWE stars that have seemingly been removed from contention for appearing at Money in the Bank 2025.
6. Roman Reigns

While Roman Reigns has never been advertised as appearing at Money in the Bank 2025, fans were hopeful that there would be an appearance by the Tribal Chief at the big event.
Although he hasn’t been announced for the event on June 7, it is still possible he could appear with Seth Rollins poised to enter the namesake ladder match along with Solo Sikoa, Andrade, LA Knight and Penta.
There is still one spot left to be filled, but the qualifying match has been announced and it does not contain Reigns, as it will be between CM Punk, AJ Styles and El Grande Americano.
Still being one of the top stars in the company despite his limited appearances, Roman Reigns seems likely to make a return in advance of SummerSlam 2025, but it remains to be seen how and where he pops back up after being absent since the post-WrestleMania episode of WWE Raw.

5. Charlotte Flair

After failing to win her Money in the Bank qualifying match, Charlotte Flair is out of contention to be in the titular ladder match.
While she could maybe still find herself in a match elsewhere on the Money in the Bank card, there has yet to be one announced for the 14-time world title holder.
Since Money in the Bank 2025 is the first of several big events over the summer for the women in WWE – including Evolution in July – it seems reasonable that Flair will be booked for something big soon.
For now, however, it does look like she will be missing out on the event set for June 7 in Los Angeles.

4. Jade Cargill

Also failing to win her way into the Money in the Bank ladder match in a qualifying match against Naomi and Nia Jax, Jade Cargill seems out of a place at the event.
Unlike in some past events, there did not end up being any “last chance” qualifying match – instead the final qualifier will be Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan vs. Ivy Nile.
Since Naomi won the qualifier and will be in the Money in the Bank ladder match, Cargill could potentially be freed up from their ongoing feud to face off against Nia Jax in singles action or even someone new.
With bouts against the likes of Charlotte Flair or even Tiffany Stratton teased but yet to come to fruition, perhaps there is a match yet to be announced, but at this point, Cargill is not set for WWE Money in the Bank.

3. Karrion Kross

With the final qualifying match for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match being announced, Karrion Kross fans were dismayed to note the lineup.
On WWE Raw, CM Punk will take on AJ Styles and El Grande Americano in the last qualifying match ahead of the event.
While Kross has been gaining in popularity amongst the WWE fanbase, particularly since his seemingly off script comments after not having a match at WrestleMania 41, he seemed possible for an appearance at Money in the Bank.
There is still a possibility that Monday’s Raw could see a match added for Kross, having interacted with numerous stars backstage as of late, but thus far, he’s not involved.

2. Chelsea Green

After having an impressive showing in the Money in the Bank ladder match last year, Chelsea Green will seemingly be missing the event entirely this time around.
Losing in her qualifying bout to enter the match against Alexa Bliss and Michin, with Bliss going on to qualif, Chelsea Green would suffer another recent setback as well.
After losing her United States Championship to Zelina Vega, Green got a rematch at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but lost the match and also picked up an injury.
Green suffered a broken nose, and although she’s wearing a mask, may be out of action until it’s repaired.

1. Jacob Fatu

Despite being a fan favorite, it seems that Jacob Fatu is poised to miss out on appearing in Los Angeles for the Money in the Bank 2025 event.
Although there still might be a match confirmed for Jacob Fatu in singles action, he didn’t qualify to enter the Money in the Bank ladder match instead losing to Andrade in a qualifier that also featured Carmelo Hayes.
Since Fatu continues to hold the WWE United States Championship, it is always possible that title defense could be added for the event, especially after recent interactions with Damian Priest.
With Solo Sikoa poised to be in the Money in the Bank ladder match though, perhaps Fatu’s storyline at the event will be more about his support – or potential lack thereo – of Solo, particularly since it was Sikoa and JC Mateo who caused a distraction, costing Fatu his qualifier.
