There are several WWE stars that could be poised to see themselves in the role of manager sometime soon.
From those retired from in-ring competition but still with a lot of entertainment value left, to others who could take a step away from wrestling – there are some intriguing options of potential future managers in WWE.
Here are six WWE stars that could become managers.
6. Alexa Bliss

Since returning to WWE, Alexa Bliss has been in competition in primarily big matches such as the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber – but has recently had a growing TV presence.
With a potential “alliance of convenience” occurring between she and Charlotte Flair, perhaps Bliss could fully adopt a managerial role.
Likely leading to an inevitable breakdown and subsequent feud, it would still be fun to see Flair have someone else as her mouthpiece for a period of time.
Flair could help provide a new attitude for Flair in her corner and on the microphone, which could benefit both of them in the long run.

5. Ric Flair

While he may be a controversial figure among professional wrestling fans, the broader mainstream still seemingly adores Ric Flair.
With characteristics of his wrestling character having permeated pop culture, Ric Flair is an instantly recognizable personality – which could be of great benefit to younger WWE talent.
Accordingly, WWE could easily re-sign Ric Flair in the future and utilize him in a unique manager role to bolster the attention on whoever he’s rolling with.
Serving as a bit of nostalgic fun, the Nature Boy seems likely to pop back up in WWE again someday and it would be enjoyable to see him as an on-screen character.

4. Big E

After Big E ended his in-ring career, the former WWE Champion and multi-time Tag Team Champion has still made regular appearances in WWE.
While his role at premium live events has been amazing – doing a fantastic job on pre-show and post-show panels – it would be fun to see him on TV more.
As a manager for any talent on the roster, Big E would add immediate fan support.
Having been incredible in his role as a hype man during his time in the New Day, obviously Big E has the skills on the microphone to get the crowd engaged and invested.

3. Zelina Vega

One star that impresses in the ring but also in a managerial role as well is Zelina Vega.
After losing the United States Championship to Giulia on a recent episode of WWE SmackDown, it seems that Vega could see a character shift in her future.
While it could be an obvious choice to pair Vega as a manager up with her real-life husband Aleister Black, she could also resume an old partnership with a familiar ally.
Having been a great manager in the past to Andrade, if Zelina Vega was looking to shake-up her character, she has options.

2. Kit Wilson

It was recently revealed on an episode of WWE SmackDown that Elton Prince of Pretty Deadly has sustained an injury and would be out of action.
There weren’t more specifics provided regarding the nature of the injury or expected timeframe for return, but Prince had been checked on by doctors during a previous match against Fraxiom after a move from Nathan Frazer seemingly led to a face and/or head injury to Price.
While a singles push could certainly be in store for Wilson, he could also pivot and become an intriguing manager.
If he were to align with an unlikely ally – like Carmelo Hayes or even hop to WWE Raw in an attempt to join American Made (with comedy value there due to him actually being English) – there could still be some memorable moments during this tag team hiatus.

1. Kofi Kingston

Now that the New Day has lost the World Tag Team Championship on WWE Raw, it could leave an opportunity for an Xavier Woods singles run.
Despite winning the King of the Ring tournament, Woods lacked one achievement that both Big E and Kofi Kingston had claimed.
Xavier Woods not only has never held the WWE Championship as Big E and Kofi have, but Woods has never held a singles title in WWE at all.
With Woods’ character arguably more compelling now than ever before, perhaps now would be the perfect time for Kofi to serve as his hype man on a run at a singles championship.
