With several notable names nearing free agency, there may be some intriguing WWE NXT debuts coming soon.
From former AEW talent that WWE is reportedly interested in to TNA crossovers yet to happen – there are some exciting possibilities on the horizon.
Here are six WWE NXT debuts that could be coming soon.
6. Matt Cardona
While NXT’s Darkstate has been challenging Matt Cardona – Cardona has yet to appear on NXT.
Although his recent TNA Wrestling Slammiversary partners The System (Brian Myers, JDC & Eddie Edwards) did pop-up on NXT ahead of the event – still no Cardona.
Perhaps being saved for a future feud or appearance on NXT – it would seem that sooner rather than later, the Indy God will pop-up.
While fans continue to call for his WWE return to the main roster, it would still be fun to see Cardona on NXT.

5. Kylie Rae
Kylie Rae is seemingly getting the recognition that she has earned from her work on the indies as she continues to make her mark in WWE.
A staple on WWE Evolve, Kylie Rae is also in contention to become the first ever WWE Women’s ID Champion.
Rae is set to face off against both Zara Zakher and Zayda Steel in a triple threat match tournament final at Game Changer Wrestling’s ID Showcase event on August 1, 2025.
Given her achievements and fun, charismatic character – hopefully Kylie Rae makes her NXT debut sooner rather than later.

4. Zayda Steel
Also a staple on WWE Evolve, Zayda Steel has been left out of a recent step by her faction the Vanity Project.
While the male members of the squad have appeared on NXT – even in action during a gauntlet match against Ricky Saints – Zayda Steel has not.
Potentially being reserved for a surprise interference, it could also be that she is set to debut on the brand in another way entirely.
Since she has been recently teaming up with Nikkita Lyons on Evolve – it seems Zayda Steel’s debut in NXT is inevitable.

3. Danhausen
The immediate popularity of Mr. Iguana from the AAA x NXT Worlds Collide event demonstrated an important missing element in WWE – random fun.
While the seriousness of competition is at an all-time high in WWE, there is also room for juxtaposition.
With AEW star Danhausen seemingly simply awaiting the end of his contract – reportedly set to expire soon – when he is a free agent, he would be the perfect addition to NXT.
Bringing in some fun, frivolity and chaos – Danhausen would be a genuinely solid addition to NXT.

2. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)
After the Private Party pair of Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen lost the AEW Tag Team Championship to the Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin – they disappeared from AEW.
It has been reported that both Kassidy & Quen’s AEW contracts are set to expire in the near future.
With established fan favorite characters and both former champs having plenty of TV experience – the acquisition would seem obvious when the pair are free agents.
While the NXT tag team division continues to rebuild after the dominant reign of Fraxiom – perhaps the next viable challengers to Hank & Tank are Private Party.

1. Adrenaline Drip (Jack Cartwheel & Cappuccino Jones)
Another set of stars from Evolve and ID – Jack Cartwheel and Cappuccino Jones could be poised to make their mark in NXT.
While the duo are a captivating tag team on WWE Evolve – going by their team name Adrenaline Drip – there is also another intriguing battle brewing between the two up-and-coming stars.
The pair are set to face off against one another in the WWE ID Men’s Championship final, also set Game Changer Wrestling’s ID Showcase event on August 1, 2025 to determine the inaugural champ.
Whether or not their tag team survives the tournament remains to be seen but it seems highly likely that both Jack Cartwheel and Cappuccino Jones will make their NXT debuts soon.
