On Sunday, May 24, All Elite Wrestling will present its latest pay-per-view with AEW Double Or Nothing 2026 from Louis Armstrong Stadium in New York City.
Considering this show is one of AEW’s tentpole events, there should be some potential title changes throughout the evening.
In what should be a record-setting crowd for this pay-per-view, many stars could get their hands on some gold in high profile matches in NYC.
Here are six potential title changes at AEW Double Or Nothing 2026.
6. Adam Copeland & Christian Cage Save Their Tag Team By Beating FTR For The AEW World Tag Team Title
At AEW Dynasty 2026, FTR defeated Adam Copeland and Christian Cage to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
After this win, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler stated that their rivals Cope & Cage were never going to get another shot at the AEW World Tag Team Title.
However, Copeland made an offer that FTR could not refuse when he challenged the champions to an NYC Street Fight rematch at AEW Double Or Nothing 2026. If Cope and Cage lose, they will retire as a tag team.
Cope and Cage winning the title in New York City would be a memorable moment where they finally get a measure of revenge on FTR for everything they’ve done to them over the past year.
5. Kris Statlander & HIkaru Shida Defeat Divine Dominion To Win The AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship
Over the past few weeks, fans have seen Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida form a tag team.
Bringing two former AEW Women’s World Champions together, Shida and Statlander have been on a winning streak as of late.
Shida and Statlander getting a shot at the Women’s World Tag Team Championship could make for a major matchup for this new duo.
Divine Dominion could meet their toughest test yet as champions against Statlander and Shida at the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.
4. The Rascalz Win The AEW World Trios Championship From The Conglomeration
Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in January, The Rascalz have been a consistent highlight of the company’s television.
Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz and Myron Reed have all stood out in their own ways whether it be singles, tag team or trios action.
Recently, The Conglomeration’s Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly defeated The Dogs to win the AEW World Trios Championship at Dynasty 2026.
Looking to capture their first championship since arriving in the company, The Rascalz could cause yet another title change in the AEW World Trios Championship scene with a win at Double Or Nothing 2026.
3. Will Ospreay Finally Overcomes Jon Moxley To Win The Continental Championship
At the AEW Dynasty 2026 pay-per-view, Jon Moxley defeated Will Ospreay to retain the AEW Continental Championship.
This heartbreaking loss has caused a lot of damage to Ospreay coming off the heels of a double fusion neck surgery.
After suffering a piledriver on the steel steps, Ospreay just hasn’t been the same in his subsequent matches and even lost to Mark Davis via referee stoppage on the April 22 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Despite this setback, Ospreay could look to bounce back by finally defeating Moxley for the first time to capture the AEW Continental Championship for the first time at Double Or Nothing 2026 on May 24.
2. Konosuke Takeshita Dethrones Kazuchika Okada For The International Championship
The tentative partnership between Don Callis Family members Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita reached a boiling point after their loss to The Young Bucks at AEW Dynasty 2026.
After Takeshita walked off on his stablemate, Okada accepted the pre-match challenge from ‘The Alpha’ for an AEW International Championship match at Double Or Nothing 2026.
Okada has been a thorn in Takeshita’s side since joining the Don Callis Family in 2025 and may have what it takes to hold onto his gold come May 24.
However, Takeshita is more motivated than ever to humble ‘The Rainmaker’ and could do so by dethroning him for the AEW International Championship at Double Or Nothing.
1. MJF Becomes A Three-Time AEW World Champion By Defeating Darby Allin
On the April 15 Spring BreakThru special episode of AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin defeated MJF to win the AEW World Championship.
After winning the top prize in All Elite Wrestling, Allin denied MJF’s request to get a rematch unless he puts something on the line.
Seeing that he was responsible for ‘Hangman’ Adam Page never getting another shot at the AEW World Title after his win at Revolution 2026, it seems like MJF may adopt the same stipulation to convince Allin that he deserves a rematch.
In his hometown of New York, it feels like the perfect setting for MJF to become a three-time AEW World Champion at Double Or Nothing by finally taking down Darby in his rematch.
