6 Places Butch Could Be Hiding

So Butch ran into the SmackDown crowd and hasn’t been seen since. Not only that, but WWE appears to be making his disappearance a joke on social media.

Actually, what if he’s genuinely gone missing and we just think WWE is making a joke? What if they’re actually concerned about his whereabouts!

Well thankfully, I’m a fantastic detective and I have come up with six potential locations where WWE may want to start looking for him.

Here are 6 places we think Butch might be hiding.

6. At court trying to change his name back.

Just look at those dead eyes. That’s what happens when you tell someone they are no longer called Pete Dunne, and they are now called Butch.

There was plenty of uproar over Pete Dunne having his name changed to Butch, and not least because it’s one of the stupidest names in WWE history…and that’s saying something.

So, there’s every chance he ran out of the arena, and then jumped in his car and straight to a court to try and change his name back.

These things can also take a very long time, so no wonder he’s not been on SmackDown for a while now. Please come back to us, Pete Dunne, or whatever you’re changing your name to.

5. At a Peaky Blinders cosplay convention

More like Petey Blinders, am I right?

If you haven’t seen the TV show Peaky Blinders, imagine Sheamus’ current faction on SmackDown with Ridge Holland, and then imagine it’s a TV show about crime set in the late 1800s and early 1900s in Birmingham, England.

It’s not exactly a coincidence that they dress exactly like the characters on the TV show, and that all the people within the faction happen to be British or Irish. In terms of Vince McMahon being on the pulse of pop culture, this is actually pretty modern for him, because Season 6 if the show is currently in production.

Unfortunately even if you went to the cosplay convention to find him, you’d have a very hard job in actually locating him amongst the other thousand flat cap wearing men who talk with a Birmingham accent. It’s even harder because Butch is actually from Birmingham.

His disguise is exquisite.

4. Off with Mystery Inc.

“Oh boy Scoob, do you think that’s a ghost?” asked Shaggy.

“Ruh-roh, a roast,” replied Scooby Doo.

“Let me at him, let me at him,” said Scrappy Butch.

Yes, there have been a number of comparisons between the character WWE is making Butch play and that of Scooby Doo’s annoying and feisty uncle, Scrappy Doo.

You will have seen that Butch spends a lot of him time just wanting to beat up everything and having no ability to control his emotions, which is exactly how I would describe Scrappy Doo.

So, if Butch is with Fred, Velma, Daphne and Shaggy and Scooby, then hopefully he’ll be back once he’s finished with their current mystery.

No, it’s not a man in a mask, that’s just Vince McMahon’s face.

3. He’s wrestling somewhere else in a mask

Now I’m not saying Butch is actually Rey Mysterio…but have you ever actually seen them in the same room?

Yes, I am theorising that Butch is actually still in WWE, but he’s wrestling under a mask and n0-one has realised yet.

My leading candidate is Rey Mysterio, and that’s not just because I can’t currently think of any other masked wrestlers in WWE right now.

In fact, I actually think Rey is the only current mask wearing wrestler in WWE.

Therefore, it has to be him…or Nikki A.S.H.

In fact, Butch and “Nikki” are both from the UK, so I’m starting to think this is more likely. Almost a super hero? More like almost a super Butch. Nice.

2. The Queen’s Jubilee

Despite what the image above suggests, Butch is not in fact married to the queen…yet.

Yes, I think Butch could in fact be visiting the queen, as her 70th Jubilee celebrations are just around the corner.

A little known fact is that every single person from the UK has to spend at least one month of their life with the queen, walking her corgis, and making her breakfast.

If I were the queen, I would want the final month of my 70th year as monarch to be spent with Butch.

If you ask me, this is all just leading to Queen Elizabeth vs. Vince McMahon in a “who can rule their empire for the longest” match at the UK Premium live event later this year.

That would sell a lot of tickets.

1. Anger management therapy

Butch is an angry, angry boy.

He’s so angry that he walked out of SmackDown and never came back.

Thankfully, Butch is also a self-reflecting boy, so there’s every chance he saw the errors of his behaviour, and has spent the past few weeks attending anger management classes.

Unusually for WWE, who tend to air their tedious and badly booked therapy storylines for us all to see, it appears Butch’s is being done more privately.

Perhaps he just keeps trying to beat up his therapist.
