With a big summer up ahead for WWE – including the first-ever two night SummerSlam – there could be some big new signings on the horizon.

From former WWE stars who could be poised to return to others who would be making their first appearances in the company – there are some intriguing names that could easily be signed sooner rather than later.

Here are six potential new WWE signings.

6. Paige

Former WWE star Paige

While Saraya has remained booked and busy since announcing her departure from AEW – including launching a podcast and dropping a memoir – the star has been open about her desire to continue wrestling.

Publicly commenting that she would be open to returning to her former WWE character Paige, it would be the perfect time to see the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion return to the company.

With Evolution 2 quickly approaching, now would be the perfect time to see a special return appearance from Paige.

As a former Divas Champion as well as a formative character in the foundations of the shift in the way women were presented in WWE – hopefully Paige will pop up this summer!

5. Danhausen

AEW's Danhausen

Danhausen has been largely missing from Tony Khan owned companies since December 2023 with the exception of a pair of ROH appearances.

It has recently been revealed that his AEW contract is set to expire sometime in July 2025, signaling that he could be free to engage in discussions with WWE soon.

With the recent positive fan reception to AAA stars like Mr. Iguana and Psycho Clown – perhaps there is room in WWE for another unique character like Danhausen.

A notable real-life pal of CM Punk, hopefully Danhausen can follow suit of Ricky Saints and Blake Monroe who disappeared as fan favorites in AEW – only to ultimately return on WWE TV.

4. Private Party

Since losing AEW World Tag Team Championship to The Hurt Syndicate on the January 22, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite, Private Party have been missing from AEW.

When it was recently revealed that their contracts with AEW are coming to an end soon, speculation began about a potential move to WWE after there had been some early interest in the duo.

Private Party could quickly rise to the top of the NXT tag team division if they were to sign with WWE, a brand that is in need of a refresh.

Bringing in a talented team to spur competition could be a fun way for the duo to debut before ultimately moving along to the main roster down the line.

3. Shady Elnahas

Recently WWE confirmed that they had picked up three former Olympians by signing them to developmental deals.

One such recruit is Shady Elnahas who was born in Egypt before immigrating to Canada at a young age.

Going on to be a two-time Olympian in Judo for Team Canada, he has also held 12 Grand Slam medals in his career. He is also not new to being on camera – he also came in third place on the second season of Love Island Quebec in 2022.

The 27-year old Canadian star has already posted a photo with Shawn Michaels at the Performance Center – suggesting his on-screen debut could be coming sooner rather than later.

2. Zilla Fatu

Zilla Fatu, son of WWE legend Umaga

One member of the real-life Bloodline that is not yet signed, but could soon make his debut in WWE is Zilla Fatu.

Already having made a name for himself in the indies in promotions like GCW and Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling, the 25 year old star seems poised for a big career.

Son of the late Umaga – Zilla Fatu would be a compelling addition to the current configuration of Bloodline members – picking a side between Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa or possibly even aligning with a returning Roman Reigns.

Since WWE has already signed the as yet to debut Hikuleo as well as Lance Anoa’i, it would make total sense to see Fatu get signed as well.

1. Keith Lee

AEW star Keith Lee

The last time that Keith Lee was in action in AEW was December 2023 – however the former WWE star has recently confirmed that he is in fact “good” despite his continued absence.

In responding to curious fans on Twitter, Keith Lee reiterated on June 26 that he was “quite fine” but noted that there was no campaign required to demand to see him on TV.

Lee wrote: “I’ve been good for quite some time, though I do appreciate the concern. But no campaign required. Things happen the way they are suppose to, and eventually, the purpose will show itself.”

Perhaps the purpose for his continued absence is that fans won’t see him next in AEW – rather potentially returning to WWE. A fan favorite, Keith Lee would be a great addition to WWE.
