While WWE GM’s Adam Pearce, Nick Aldis and Ava continue at the helm of SmackDown, Raw and NXT respectively – change could be coming.

With the WWE Draft 2025 set to potentially shake things up, there are a host of talented WWE performers who could end up at the helm as on-screen GM.

Here are 6 possible new WWE General Managers.

6. Nikki Bella

When Nikki Bella made her return on WWE Raw, it seemed as though she was set to kick off a program with Liv Morgan.

But since Liv Morgan has been taken out of action due to injury, Bella temporarily disappeared before being revealed to be joining the Evolution battle royal.

However if her dreams of getting a title shot at Clash at the Castle Paris are dashed by the end of Evolution – there could be another role for Bella.

Bringing her back as a special GM for any of the brands would be a fun use of the mainstream star but particularly if she were to have authority to wreak havoc over her enemies like the Judgment Day – it could be a lot of fun.

5. Mark Henry

AEW coach Mark Henry

Since departing AEW, Mark Henry has been seen briefly on-screen on WWE TV – including sitting ringside at a January 2025 episode of SmackDown.

However the WWE Hall of Famer would make an incredible GM – particularly if he served as a mentor figure on NXT.

With his own son Jacob Henry signed as an NIL athlete, the legend could offer a unique perspective to the process for both talent and potentially the audience if discussed on-screen.

Able to be a veteran presence to be GM alongside Ava, the duo could make a really great on-screen pair.

4. Paige

Possibly set to make a return at WWE Evolution 2025, Paige is hopefully poised for a series of in-ring matches in WWE.

But if she were to remain around long-term, a great use of her may still be in a GM role – but one that sees her as an incredibly selfish and heelish one of course.

Playing into a recent trope of accusing talent of having the surname Hogan – as a slight referencing Hulk Hogan’s WCW contractual creative control – Paige could really amp it up.

Not only able to book her own matches on-screen to make herself look the strongest and clearly never lose – she could also book her foes into brutal battles, just for fun.

3. Bobby Roode

WWE star Robert Roode

While Bobby Roode’s in-ring career came to an end, he continues to work backstage as a producer.

With his name attached to some of the biggest matches in recent memory – including WrestleMania 41’s main event of John Cena besting Cody Rhodes – Roode is clearly savvy.

However, he has yet to make any significant on-screen return beyond being spotted during melees in which officials appear at ringside.

Known for his charisma and on-screen presence during his time as a performer, Roode would certainly have all of the skills necessary to take his talents in front of the camera as well.

2. William Regal

WWE's William Regal

While he has already been one of the most beloved on-screen authority figures in WWE, William Regal could definitely resume a GM role in the future.

However, perhaps more interestingly would be for Regal could serve as a mentor to another younger GM on-screen – possibly Ava in NXT.

Able to explore her character’s concerns about the perception of inexperience in the setting of being a legacy talent, Regal could offer sound – and humanizing advice.

While some fans complain about Ava’s on-screen character – she perhaps requires a veteran presence to remind the audience of her progression so far as GM.

1. Chelsea Green

WWE star Chelsea Green

Known foe of WWE SmackDown GM Nick Aldis and WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce – Chelsea Green may make an ideal GM – if only to get some comeuppance for past misdeeds.

While she’s already hilariously anti-authority with both main roster GMs, she could get a taste of her own medicine if she were to have to step in for Ava on NXT.

Dealing with some of the challenging egos backstage that mirror her own – like ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page – Green could have an amazing albeit brief tenure at the helm of NXT.

Particularly with the NXT stable Darkstate recently attacking Green’s real-life husband in TNA Wrestling Matt Cardona – it would be an even better story to see her have to control the roster and Cardona’s demands if he were to make a guest appearance.
