Heading towards the next pay-per-view AEW Forbidden Door in only a few weeks, there could be some new signings ahead.
While some fans expected surprises at AEW All In Texas – perhaps now the time is right.
Here are six new potential AEW signings.
6. Karrion Kross & Scarlett
With reports stating that Karrion Kross & Scarlett’s WWE contracts are set to expire this weekend and that no new contract offer has been extended – it seems that the duo could be departing the company.
With his recent groundswell of fan support online as well as with the live WWE crowds, it is possible the same fervor could translate to AEW.
Potentially looking to capitalize on a talent that could be perceived as being “fumbled” by WWE, it might make a strong strategic move for AEW to pick up Kross while the story is fresh in the mind of fans.
Likely to be accompanied by his real-life wife Scarlett – it would be intriguing to see what the pair could do in AEW.

5. Dakota Kai
One of the surprising released from WWE back in May was Dakota Kai.
Having been recently involved in chasing the inaugural WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, Kai managed to make it to the final of the tournament before losing to Lyra Valkyria.
Clearly well respected backstage for her in-ring skills as well as seemingly genuinely likeable personality – Dakota Kai could be a positive addition to the AEW women’s locker room.
Bringing veteran level experience in the ring, a fresh start in AEW could be the perfect next step for the AEW women’s division and Kai’s career.

4. Shayna Baszler
Another released WWE star that is now a free agent is Shayna Baszler.
Baszler had a solid run on NXT in her ‘Queen of Spades’ iteration – a ferocity that never quite translated to the main roster.
Given Baszler’s legitimate MMA background as well as clear dedication to the industry, it wouldn’t be surprising to see AEW sign her.
With plenty of stories left to tell, Shayna Baszler could find herself partnering with a more obvious choice like Marina Shafir or even aligning with AEW homegrown talent like Kris Statlander or even, Willow Nightingale. The possibilities are endless!

3. Wayne & Wyatt Rhodes
With Dustin Rhodes announcing that he would be undergoing double knee replacement in the near future, he is unlikely to be returning to in-ring competition int he near future.
That doesn’t mean however that AEW would have to be without any members of the Rhodes family on board.
Recently appearing to celebrate with their Uncle Dustin Rhodes on his TNT Championship victory at AEW All In Texas, the tag team of Wayne and Wyatt Rhodes.
Having previous wrestled in ROH, the pair seem poised to do big things in the future – possibly in AEW.

2. Ace Austin
After recently confirming his departure from TNA Wrestling after six years in the company, he is seemingly still enjoying free agency.
Appearing in multiple independent promotions since his departure in June – Ace Austin remains a potential signing with a lot of upside.
Possibly best known for becoming 3x Tag Team Champion Chris Bey in their team ABC, Austin found singles success in the TNA X-Division holding the X-Division Championship 3x as well.
Able to function as a compelling singles star or in a tag team, AEW could pick up a solid investment in Ace Austin.

1. Bea Priestley (Blair Davenport)
Back in 2019, Bea Priestley signed with All Elite Wrestling, however her time in the company was relatively short – parting ways after one year.
Signing with WWE in 2021, she would go on to become known as Blair Davenport – going on to feature on NXT, NXT UK and SmackDown.
However, after being released from WWE she has already made her return to wrestling. Competing first in NJPW, she recently made a return to STARDOM.
With a long history in the business with the likes of Jamie Hayter and Toni Storm – it would be fun to see some of their old rivalries renewed in AEW.
