With the all-women’s premium live event WWE Evolution 2025 set for Sunday, July 13, there have yet to be any matches made official.
Although a few storyline details are left to be ironed out, there are a great deal of potential matches on the table for the event’s big return.
Here are six matches that WWE can announce for Evolution 2025.
6. Jacy Jayne Vs. Jordynne Grace With Blake Monroe As Special Guest Referee
There is already an Evolution eliminator tournament underway on NXT – with the winner facing Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship at the event.
Four women are left in contention at the time of writing: Jordynne Grace, Jaida Parker, Lash Legend and Izzi Dame. However, it wouldn’t make sense to not also feature brand new WWE signing Blake Monroe – especially given her recent run-in with Jayne that saw her put through a table by Fatal Influence.
In the end, Jayne could lose the bout to Jordynne Grace and leave the door open for Blake Monroe to show her true character – attacking Grace and embracing her trademark heel character.
This could even pave the way for the NXT Women’s Championship to be elevated to a SummerSlam match between Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe – the first-ever two night event certainly would be a great showcase for the talented stars.

5. Chyna Memorial Battle Royal
While it has already been speculated that there will be a multi-woman match of some sort at Evolution 2025 – WWE should go one step further and name it after one of the division’s most influential stars – Joanie Laurer aka Chyna.
While the Queen of the Ring winner will have a guaranteed world title shot at SummerSlam, perhaps the winner of the battle royal could be given the remaining title shot – with Rhea Ripley potentially winning to earn a big rematch with IYO SKY.
Setting up potential future feuds for Ripley post-WWE Draft like Nia Jax, Giulia or even Raw’s own Stephanie Vaquer – it could end up being an important match for current storylines.
Also with the potential for returning legends like Trish Stratus and Michelle McCool in addition to the perpetually speculated names like Paige and AJ Lee – there could be a number of big moments in WWE history happening during the match as well.

4. WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship – Becky Lynch (c) Vs. Bayley Vs. Lyra Valkyria
After an absence that lasted eleven months, Becky Lynch returned to WWE as a woman on a mission.
Already having captured two titles in the span of less than two months, Lynch hasn’t been able to get her hands on gold again without getting them a little dirty as well.
Having attacked both Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, it seems that an ideal match for Evolution 2025 would be a triple-threat match for the Intercontinental Championship.
With both Becky Lynch and Bayley having made an indelible mark on the WWE women’s division in the last decade, the moment would be a great showcase for how far both talented women have come – and also showcase the future as well with the inclusion of Valkyria.

3. Alexa Bliss Vs. Naomi
Given their connection to audiences and intriguing character transformations of late – both Alexa Bliss and Naomi could be perfect foils for one another at Evolution 2025.
In a recent interview, Alexa Bliss didn’t directly dispute rumors that she could be joining up with Wyatt Sicks at some point – rather noting that the characters exist within the same universe.
While Bliss continues to remain separate from the Sicks – if she were to have a run-in with the dastardly Naomi at Evolution 2025, there could be bigger storyline implications.
Since Naomi could be considered a character worthy of being targeted due to her past transgressions involving former friend Jade Cargill, if Nikki Cross were to make a surprise appearance and lend a hand to Bliss – it would make sense as well as be a lot of fun to see Bliss at least meet up with a Wyatt Sicks member.

2. WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships – Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez (c) Vs. The Bella Twins
While Nikki Bella has made her return to WWE, it is rumored that her twin sister Brie Bella is not far behind. Although Brie has recently disputed that she’s even been contacted by WWE – she noted that she would love to return.
However, since the news broke that not only was Liv Morgan set to be out of action due to injury for a number of months – it seems that her budding feud with Nikki Bella will need to be scrapped for the time being.
With reports that WWE are not planning to vacate the Women’s Tag Team Titles, the most reasonable path forward would likely be for fellow Judgment Day member Roxanne Perez to simply take Morgan’s spot teaming with Raquel Rodriguez – a prospect that was teased on WWE Raw by having Finn Balor pull the pair aside to chat.
Leading to an eventual blowoff between Morgan and Perez in the future, it could also make for a clean transition to Rodriguez and Perez dropping the Women’s Tag Team Championship to The Bella Twins ahead of SummerSlam.

1. WWE Women’s Championship – Tiffany Stratton (c) Vs. Charlotte Flair
Perhaps the reason there hasn’t been a PLE rematch between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton after WrestleMania 41 is because it has been on pause until Evolution 2025.
Since a stare down between Jade Cargill and Charlotte Flair seemingly teased a future program between the pair, and with Naomi as the Money in the Bank briefcase holder – there are a lot of moveable parts to this SmackDown feud.
With the title picture for the WWE Women’s Championship heating up ahead of SummerSlam – there could be some kind of shenanigans in this match that ends up leading to a non-finish.
With Flair having a claim for a rematch and the winner of the Queen of the Ring tournament looming, WWE could set up a bigger showdown for the first-ever two night SummerSlam 2025.
