With three matches confirmed for the upcoming AEW WrestleDream 2025 pay-per-view, Tony Khan will be looking to expand the card soon.
From new rivalries to potential faction splits, there are some very big matches that could end up scheduled for the October 18 event before long.
Here are six more matches to be added to AEW WrestleDream 2025.
6. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kazuchika Okada – AEW Unified Championship
AEW fans have continued to note a gradual babyface turn for Konosuke Takeshita which could fully become apparent in the near future.
It could be that the rivalry within the group between Takeshita and Okada boils over at WrestleDream 2025 for the AEW Unified Championship.
Alternatively, there could always be a scenario that sees Takeshita challenging TNT Champion and fellow Don Callis family member Kyle Fletcher instead.
Potentially leading to a path that sees the returning Orange Cassidy taking on Okada for the AEW Unified title at WrestleDream 2025, there are numerous possibilities.

5. Mercedes Mone & Harley Cameron vs. Skye Blue & Julia Hart – AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship
With the recent announcement of the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship being introduced soon, TBS Champion Mercedes Mone was interested.
Of course intrigued by capturing yet another title, she was approached backstage by Harley Cameron plus the adorable Mini Mone puppet with Cameron hopeful that the pair could chase the new titles together.
While Mone rebuffed Cameron and the puppet, it could still certainly come to pass as a showdown of the inaugural titles in AEW could end up a lot of fun.
Other tag teams that could find themselves in the hunt for the new belts are Taya Valkyrie & Deonna Purrazzo, Anna Jay & Tay Melo and Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford.

4. Jurassic Express (Jack Perry & Luchasaurus) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)
After Jack Perry made his surprise AEW return and reunited with Killswitch – who promptly abandoned the moniker in favor of a return to Luchasaurus – the duo would go on to have a big impact on the 6th anniversary edition of Dynamite.
Coming out to the ring to confront the Young Bucks, it was clear that the bad blood between Jack Perry and the Jacksons was not over just yet.
Seemingly setting the stage for the duo to have a showdown against one another at WrestleDream 2025, the stakes are emotionally high enough that no championships are necessary.
However, given the longstanding rivalry, perhaps a Street Fight stipulation could be in order!

3. Kenny Omega vs. Andrade with Don Callis
An intriguing match that would have not seemed possible a few months ago, fans could see the AEW return of Andrade El Idolo with Don Callis taking on Kenny Omega at AEW WrestleDream 2025.
Making a surprise return on the sixth anniversary edition of AEW Dynamite, Andrade El Idolo is back and has a brand new target.
Taking out Kenny Omega, Andrade would stand tall in the end and make it clear that he had joined the dastardly Don Callis Family.
Potentially replacing whatever plan was for Wardlow before he picked up an injury upon returning to AEW, it seems that the Don Callis family continues to grow.

2. Brodido vs. Josh Alexander & Hechicero – AEW Tag Team Championship
With the duo of Brodido – Brody King and Bandido – already putting on amazing matches since capturing the AEW Tag Team Championship, it doesn’t seem their reign is set to end any time soon.
However, after teaming with Kenny Omega to face off with Josh Alexander and the Young Bucks on the sixth anniversary episode of Dynamite, Brodido might be ready to rumble with Alexander again.
With Josh Alexander bringing his own veteran skills, adding in fellow Don Callis family member Hechicero could prove to be a wild combination of forces that would potentially steal the show.
Giving a showcase for both teams, JetSpeed (Speedball Mike Bailey & Kevin Knight) could always join the fracas to make it a three-way affair.

1. Kyle Fletcher vs. Orange Cassidy for AEW TNT Championship
With the recent return of Orange Cassidy, he had a big opportunity at Kyle Fletcher and the AEW TNT Championship.
The end to the bout would see an ending that at first seemed to show that Hologram betrayed Orange Cassidy, costing him the match, but that wasn’t the case.
It wasn’t actually Hologram at all, rather El Clon that had made the attack and cost Cassidy his big shot after being out of action for months.
Likely leading to rematch between the pair at AEW WrestleDream 2025, there could be a brand new TNT Champion by the end of the night on October 18.
