With AEW All Out 2025 fast approaching on September 20, there could be some big heel turns before the end of the event in Toronto.

With several heel turns being teased on AEW TV, it seems more than likely that someone will end up leaving AEW All Out having embraced their dark side. From growing frustrations to returns that could have an axe to grind – there are some intriguing possibilities.

Here are six possible heel turns at AEW All Out 2025.

6. Kris Statlander

After Moxley went out of his way to congratulate Statlander on her $100k victory – it has continued to remain murky exactly what is happening with Stat.

However after conflict to end Collision on September 6 – Statlander has found herself in an intriguing spot for AEW All Out 2025.

Facing off against Timeless Toni Storm, Thekla and Jamie Hayter for the AEW Women’s World Championship – perhaps there will be a big heel turn in the match.

If Statlander was finally able to commit to her dark tendencies, she could become the most compelling heel in the AEW women’s division.

5. Daniel Garcia

It certainly seems that something could be brewing with Daniel Garcia. With his percolating frustration it seems possible that a heel turn could be incoming for the 26 year old star.

After continuing to fall short to Jon Moxley and by extension the Death Riders, perhaps Garcia will decide to join the crew.

Clearly frustrated with the current trajectory in his career, it could be that Garcia takes the opportunity to lend a hand to Moxley.

Since Jon Moxley is set to face off against Darby Allin in a coffin match at AEW All Out 2025 – perhaps Garcia will interfere.

4. HOOK

After a period of absence has led to the return of HOOK – potentially things could be shifting for the star as well.

Returning at the history 2300 Arena in Philadelphia and interrupting an in-ring segment with Wheeler Yuta, HOOK would choke Yuta out.

Potentially paving the way for the next generation of the Death Riders faction, it could be that the dastardly group picks up multiple new members by the end of AEW All Out 2025.

Also a candidate to lend a helping hand to the Death Riders in the event he is looking to go to the dark side – HOOK could end up joining forces with Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta to take on his former The Opps stable.

Beloved AEW fan favorite Eddie Kingston has been out of action due to injury since May 2024.

After a complex leg injury has led to a long road to recovery, fans remain anxious to see the return of The Mad King.

Surely set to make a triumphant return when he does reappear – it could be an iconic AEW moment for fans to feel the highest of highs to see him again before being devastated by his heel turn.

If Kingston was to return and immediately align with the likes of Moxley in opposition of Darby Allin – it could be a tipping point in the future of the fight for AEW.

2. Anthony Bowens

After hearing stern words from pro wrestling legend Jerry Lynn in a backstage segment on Collision on September 6, it could be that Bowens is headed in a new direction.

Potentially turning heel and attempting to take over AEW in a brand new way, the Five-Tool Player is still unlikely to reunite with Max Caster.

More like channeling his own penchant for violence, Bowens could find a new heelish ally in another familiar face.

Marking an incredible heel duo, Jack Perry and Anthony Bowens could make the next biggest AEW tag team.

1. Thunder Rosa

AEW star Thunder Rosa

Last presented as more of a babyface than heel, perhaps an iconic move for Thunder Rosa would be to come back with a vengeance.

While she has been out of in-ring action in AEW since AEW All In and the casino gauntlet match – she could make a big return and a major shift in persona at AEW All Out 2025.

Looking to potentially balance heels and faces amongst the AEW women’s division not only in number but more specifically as it relates to storylines – Rosa’s turn could become a storyline with one of the women she has recently been teaming up with.

With the likes of Willow Nightingale, Anna Jay, Queen Aminata and Tay Melo all options – Thunder Rosa could kick off a furious feud as a heel.
