To start 2026, AEW has been quite active in acquiring talent from all over the world, with names such as Andrade El Idolo and Tommaso Ciampa signing with the company.

Looking at the current free agency market, there are a few different former WWE factions that could come into AEW sometime down the line.

Whether it be long established stables or groups that were cut off short, some different groups may get a second lease on life in All Elite Wrestling in the weeks and months to come.

Here are six former WWE factions to potentially join AEW.

6. Gallus (Wolfgang, Joe & Mark Coffey)

Back in May 2025, Gallus were released from WWE after seven years with the promotion.

Forming their group on the NXT UK brand, Joe and Mark Coffey joined forces with Wolfgang where they proceeded to dominate anyone standing in their way.

Most recently, the Coffey brothers were seen backstage at a recent AEW Dynamite TV taping in Orlando, Florida.

Considering they are now free agents, fans could see Gallus make their way to All Elite Wrestling where they could bring their brand of violence to the promotion.

5. Chemical X (Shotzi Blackheart & Priscilla Kelly)

Another faction that made a name for themselves on WWE NXT was the group named Chemical X.

Consisting of Shotzi Blackheart, Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin, this stable was short-lived, but made their presence felt during their time together.

Since being released from WWE in May 2025, Shotzi and Dolin, now known as Priscilla Kelly, have been feuding with one another on the independent scene.

While they have been at odds in recent months, Kelly and Blackheart could bring a little Chemical X to Tony Khan’s promotion sooner rather than later.

4. Final Testament (Killer Kross, Scarlett, Paul Ellering & Authors of Pain)

To the shock of many fans, Karrion Kross and Scarlett announced their exit from WWE following their contracts expiring after SummerSlam 2025.

Since then, Kross and Scarlett have returned to the indies where they have become a popular act following their recent momentum in WWE.

Back in February 2025, Kross’ group, The Final Testament, were broken up when Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering were released from WWE.

Kross could now lead The Final Testament in a new company by bringing the faction to AEW where they could help him ascend to the top in short order.

3. The OC (AJ Styles, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows)

At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, GUNTHER defeated AJ Styles to retire him from the company, ending his 10-year run with the promotion.

This has opened the door for “The Phenomenal One” to head to another company when his WWE contract expires sometime soon.

Styles will join his former Bullet Club and The OC stablemates Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows on the free agency market.

Now that all three men are available, AEW would be smart to welcome The OC into the promotion where a Bullet Club Civil War could begin with either the Bang Bang Gang, The War Dogs or even The Elite.

2. MMA Horsewomen (Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler & Marina Shafir)

Rising to the top of the MMA world, Ronda Rousey recruited a group of young fighters that also were big wrestling fans and created the Four Horsewomen.

During her run in WWE NXT, Shayna Baszler led her own version of the MMA Horsewomen alongside Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke that helped her hold onto the NXT Women’s Championship.

Now years later, Shafir has made a name for herself in All Elite Wrestling, while her former stablemates and friends, Rousey and Baszler are free agents no longer signed with WWE.

Shafir opening the door for Rousey and Baszler to sign with AEW could see her creating a new stable away from The Death Riders with the MMA Horsewomen making their way to Tony Khan’s promotion.

1. Brood (Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & Gangrel)

Back at AEW Double Or Nothing 2024, Adam Copeland defeated Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match to retain the TNT Championship.

This victory came following the debut of Gangrel in All Elite Wrestling who helped Copeland to retain the gold.

While fans have not seen Gangrel since this appearance, Copeland and his former tag team partner Christian Cage have reunited on AEW TV.

This reunion could become even bigger by Copeland and Christian bringing in Gangrel to reform The Brood in AEW almost three decades since the group was first created in WWE.
