6 Debuts At WWE Raw Netflix Premiere

WWE Raw is officially set to make the move over to Netflix in just under two months, with the show premiering on the streaming platform on January 6, 2025.

WWE has been hyping up the debut episode of Raw on Netflix, which is set to see appearances from John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair and others.

For a show of this magnitude, it would make a great place to debut certain names to make a big impact on the show.

Here are 6 potential WWE debuts that could take place on the Netflix premiere of WWE Raw.

6) Oba Femi

WWE NXT star Oba Femi

Oba Femi tasted defeat for the first time in his main NXT career back on October 8, when he lost the NXT North American Championship to Tony D’Angelo.

Femi then came up short in his rematch with D’Angelo at Halloween Havoc, seemingly removing him from the North American title picture for now.

Following his defeats, many have speculated that Femi could be set for a move to the main roster, and he’s the exact sort of wrestler you debut in a big way on the show.

Him making his debut on the Netflix premiere would immediately cement him as a key figure on the show.

5) Malakai Black

While it would technically not be a debut, the AEW contract status of Malakai Black has been questioned a lot as of late.

Following his defeat to Adam Cole, many believed Black was saying farewell to AEW, with him later taking to social media to debunk any rumours that he was leaving or was injured.

However, it was reported by Fightful that Black is expected to finish up with the company towards the end of the year, when his contract is set to expire.

If he does finish up with the company at the end of the year, we could see him redebut for WWE on the Netflix premiere.

4) Roxanne Perez

Roxanne Perez previously appeared on the Raw after WrestleMania 40, with her appearance being a teaser for NXT stars being included in the then-upcoming WWE Draft.

Roxanne did not end up being featured in the Draft, and remains the NXT Women’s Champion to this day, though her days with the belt may be numbered.

With a new influx of women’s stars coming to NXT, the main roster could use Roxanne right now, especially amid the potential introduction of a Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Once she drops the title, it’d be a mistake to not immediately bring her up to the main roster.

3) Joe Hendry

So far, the partnership between WWE and TNA has only featured names making appearances on NXT, and NXT stars making appearances for TNA.

However, ever since Joe Hendry’s rise in popularity earlier this year, a potential appearance in the Royal Rumble match has been speculated by fans.

Hendry showing his face on the Raw Netflix premiere would be a way to get him a fun appearance on the show, to ramp up the hype heading into a potential Royal Rumble cameo.

Of course, Hendry isn’t the only current TNA star that could appear on the show.

2) Jordynne Grace

Former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace has already made multiple appearances for WWE during the ongoing partnership with NXT, as well as an appearance in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Grace’s contract with TNA is reportedly set to expire in January, so it’s entirely likely that she could be a free agent by the time the Netflix premiere rolls around.

When Grace’s contract expires, WWE will almost certainly make a play for her to come into the company full-time, and immediately thrusting her into the Raw Women’s Division would give it a shot in the arm.

While she could easily start in NXT, she’d make more of an impact debuting straight on Raw.

1) Hikuleo and/or Lance Anoa’i

WWE has announced that Roman Reigns will appear on the Netflix premiere episode of Raw.

With Roman set to appear, and fans long speculating an appearance from The Rock, it seems that the next chapter in the Bloodline story could take place on that show.

With the Bloodline still being WWE’s top story right now, debuting a new member of the family on the big Netflix premiere would be an easy way to immediately get people talking.

Both Hikuleo and Lance Anoa’i are reportedly signed to WWE, so either man would make sense to add to the group.
