There are some changes coming ahead for WWE Raw on Netflix with not only shifting teams, shifting times but also stories.

From a masked man who seems to be multiplying to an invisible one that is slowly slipping away from us all, there are some notable changes coming up soon for WWE Raw.

Here are six changes coming to WWE Raw.

6. Even More Americanos

When Chad Gable reigned supreme on WWE Raw as the only El Grande Americano – fans were thrilled with the character.

But when Gable got taken out of action due to injury, rather than let the gimmick lapse – in true Lucha form, a new man assumed the masked character to put his own spin on things.

With Ludwig Kaiser being ever impressive in his role as the latest El Grande Americano, there was a surprise that saw two more El Grande Americanos seemingly appear.

Now confirmed to be debuting on WWE Raw as Los Americanos, the brand new trio of Americanos (spoiler alert – it is Kaiser, Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate) seemingly already have a match after Dragon Lee and AJ Styles demanded two of them from Raw GM Adam Pearce.

5. More Mixed Tag Matches

With CM Punk & AJ Lee teaming up to take on Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch, there could be even more mixed tag matches coming to Netflix in the future.

Not only between those pairs of rivals but with potential other teams as Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest, Ivy Nile & one of the Creed Brothers and a lot of configurations of Judgment Day – the possibilities are exciting.

With plenty of couples split across the main roster and NXT as well, it could be a fun opportunity for unique pairings like seeing Kelani Jordan appear alongside real-life fiancée Carmelo Hayes or even Izzi Dame popping by to team up with Bron Breakker.

4. Earlier Start Time

For several weeks there has been an earlier start time to WWE Raw on Netflix with the broadcast kicking off at 4pm PST/7pm EST.

An hour earlier than previously scheduled start times, the move is said to be done in order to avoid direct competition with the NFL during Monday Night Football.

The change was noted at time of writing for just the month of September, time will tell regarding if the viewership data proved the move successful.

With fans updating the method of how they watch WWE Raw by transitioning to Netflix, perhaps the live start time could prove non-consequential with fans able to stream at their leisure.

3. Commentary Shake-Ups

WWE continues to keep fans guessing regarding the status of the current commentary teams across both WWE Raw and SmackDown.

With Pat McAfee taking time away from WWE related to his typical football season duties, Joe Tessitore has NFL commitments as well, Wade Barrett also came upon scheduled time off.

Filling in for a few episodes of Raw, Corey Graves would then be subject to a vicious attack on SmackDown by Brock Lesnar, taking him out of commission entirely.

With the September 22 team being Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett, it remains to be seen who settles into the roles more permanently.

2. Crossovers From SmackDown

Ahead of the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel Perth on October 11, it is seemingly assured that there will be some crossovers from SmackDown as the event holds at least two big champion versus champion matches.

With Stephanie Vaquer set to face off against Tiffany Stratton as well as Seth Rollins taking on Cody Rhodes, certainly there will continue to be some crossover appearances.

Potentially able to broaden the field as well to include a Dominik Mysterio vs. Sami Zayn match, a Becky Lynch vs. Giulia match and/or Judgment Day versus Wyatt Sicks – more champion versus champion bouts could be coming.

While there are still dates left on John Cena‘s WWE schedule, they are not scheduled for many appearances on WWE Raw.

With Cena’s match against AJ Styles at Crown Jewel Perth on October 11, he won’t be back in WWE until he bids farewell to WWE Raw in Boston on November 10 and finally New York City on November 17.

Cena was originally not scheduled for farewell tour appearances between Crown Jewel and Survivor Series however with updates to the last leg of the retirement tour seemingly set – the time really is now.

John Cena is scheduled to have the final match of his career in Washington D.C. on December 13 on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
