With a raucous crowd and six big matches on the card, WWE Clash in Paris 2025 promises a memorable night of action this Sunday.
While the advertised action is enough to be excited about, WWE could go that extra mile and give the fans in Paris some unexpected surprises – including some heel stars turning babyface.
From returning stars that fans have been itching to cheer for, to less defined characters that could be solidified as babyfaces, there are some interesting options.
Here are six possible babyface turns at WWE Clash in Paris 2025.
6. Becky Lynch

While her recent heel work has been gaining Becky Lynch some acclaim and attention, the Irish star is still someone many fans want to cheer for.
With her bout at Clash in Paris 2025 set against Nikki Bella for the Intercontinental Championship, Lynch could end up humbled by someone not involved in her match at Clash in Paris.
Bayley has been teasing a reinvention in recent weeks via vignettes that seem to show different iterations of her character arguing with one another.
Bayley showing up and attacking Lynch, as well as Nikki Bella, could cause the two opponents to team up together in an attempt fend off The Role Model and leave Lynch leaning closer to the babyface side as a result.

5. Rusev

Since returning to WWE from AEW, Rusev has firmly portrayed a heel, rather than embrace the support of the fans wanting to chant “Rusev Day”.
Initially attacking Otis and Akira Tozawa, he has gone on to have a feud with Sheamus. While the pair is set to go to war with one another at Clash in Paris 2025, in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donny Brook match – it could ultimately end up leading to a shift in Rusev’s character.
Possibly being as simple as just being a good sport with Sheamus at some point when the match was over, Rusev could continue his path of dominance with Sheamus instead of against him.
Much like Sheamus and Cesaro did many years prior, perhaps the competition between Rusev and Sheamus could lead to dominant new tag team that takes Raw by storm.

4. Carmelo Hayes

Carmelo Hayes is one character in WWE who would greatly benefit from a character shake-up.
Just because Hayes isn’t on the card for Clash in Paris 2025 doesn’t mean that there couldn’t be some character development for him and his team with The Miz.
The Melo Don’t Miz tag team with The Miz lost to the Street Profits on the go-home edition of SmackDown and thereby lost out on a big opportunity.
With The Street Profits going on to get a match for the WWE Tag Team Championship, perhaps Miz could attempt to get Melo to interfere in the match, costing Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins the win, only for Melo to refuse.

3. Bron Breakker

Although he was presented as both a heel and babyface at different times on NXT, the main roster iteration of Bron Breakker has been mostly heel.
Backing up the dastardly Seth Rollins in his faction alongside Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker continues to seem eager to fight any and all comers but particularly hurls insults at the crowd with ease.
However, in storyline there are already some key details that could lead to Breakker having a change of heart including that even he wasn’t made aware that Seth Rollins had been faking an injury ahead of SummerSlam.
While a full babyface turn for Breakker seems a bit unlikely at this early stage in the group’s history together – the seeds could at least begin to be planted.

2. Wyatt Sicks

While their moral leanings have always been a bit ambiguous, the Wyatt Sicks originally debuted in WWE as babyfaces, however, upon returning to television in the late Spring, they’ve most certainly been leaning more towards the heel side of the spectrum.
Since it was the Street Profits who won a match on SmackDown against Melo Don’t Miz in order to get the title bout at Clash in Paris 2025, it could serve a dual purpose.
Bo Dallas seemed like he was trying to cause a wedge between Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins on SmackDown, which could lead to the beginnings of a breakup of the duo, or potentially a rare double turn as Dawkins and Ford showcase a darker side and the Wyatts get the sympathy of the crowd.
While its debatable whether this would work given the somewhat tepid reaction to the Wyatts recently, Bo Dallas is the one member of the group that could potentially draw some sympathy and emotion from the crowd that could be used to create an effective double turn, if Ford and Dawkins single him out for an attack specifically.

1. Finn Balor & JD McDonagh

While the Judgment Day continues to hold the WWE World Tag Team Championship after besting the New Day for the tiles back in June, they have only defended them once, something that was a common complaint during their last reign with the gold as well.
While this makes their case for a babyface turn a somewhat dubious one, the pair did receive a very positive reaction from the crowd when they captured the belts, so a babyface turn isn’t too farfetched.
One way the duo could turn would be making it clear that they have no intention of interfering to help Dominik Mysterio in his bout against AJ Styles on Monday’s Raw, telling him so during a backstage segment on the Clash in Paris PLE.
If WWE wanted to go a step further, Balor and McDonagh could abandon ship completely from The Judgment Day and instead join up with AJ Styles in a new faction, one that could play into Balor and Styles’ past friendship and attempt to rebuild Balor as a credible threat.
