WWE Survivor Series 2025 is coming up on Saturday, November 29 with only four matches confirmed on the lineup.
That means there are plenty of WWE stars who are missing out, including some who were initially planned to be part of the event.
Here are five WWE stars who were removed from Survivor Series.
5. Seth Rollins
The biggest omission from the planned WWE Survivor Series lineup this year is that of Seth Rollins.
Rollins was set to lead The Vision’s team into WarGames, but suffered an injury against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel.
Ruled out for several months, Rollins had to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship and a lot of big plans shifted around as a result.
Rollins is targeting around WrestleMania time in April next year to make his return.

4. Jacob Fatu
Jacob Fatu was featured in the originally planned lineup for the men’s WWE WarGames match.
He was set for the babyface side, teaming with CM Punk, Roman Reigns and The Usos, meaning he was effectively replaced by Cody Rhodes.
Fatu was temporarily written off TV a few weeks ago due to dental surgery, which has kept him out of action since.
The question remains whether it Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, or someone else who attacked him and put him on the shelf.

3. Austin Theory
When the planned lineups for WarGames at WWE Survivor Series were leaked, Austin Theory was included.
Despite being off WWE TV since May, Theory was set to return as part of The Vision’s team alongside Seth Rollins, Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker and Brock Lesnar.
After Rollins suffered an injury at Crown Jewel, WWE had to make major changes to its plans as he could no longer compete at Survivor Series.
Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre are now part of the team alongside Reed, Breakker and Lesnar, with Rollins forced out due to injury, and Theory out due to the plans shifting around as a result.

2. LA Knight
When the WarGames lineups were first leaked, there was a question mark over LA Knight.
The planned babyface team came with the caveat that either Knight or Jimmy Uso were set to be featured on the team.
In the end, Uso has been chosen as part of the lineup, with Knight missing out on the event.
Knight is still in the John Cena ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament to decide his final WWE opponent, but so is Jey Uso, who is on the team regardless.

1. Solo Sikoa & The MFTs
Solo Sikoa and The MFTs are part of Survivor Series weekend, but not at the PLE itself.
On WWE SmackDown the night before the event, they’re part of a traditional Survivor Series elimination match against Sami Zayn, the Motor City Machine Guns, Shinsuke Nakamura and Rey Fenix.
In previous years, a Survivor Series style elimination match would have taken place at the PLE itself, but since 2022, those matches have been replaced by WarGames, and this is the first year a traditional match is even taking place on the same weekend.
However, this match – and SmackDown as a whole – was actually taped a week in advance.
