5 WWE Money In The Bank 2025 Matches Canceled

With WWE Money in the Bank 2025 almost here, the card for the PLE is seemingly set – albeit still missing a lot of top stars.

While storylines have suggested that there could be more matches added to the event, it seems that many teased showdowns have been delayed or canceled entirely.

Here are five WWE Money in the Bank 2025 matches that seemed likely but ended up not being booked for the event.

5. CM Punk & Sami Zayn vs. Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker

Four top names absent from the Money in the Bank card include CM Punk, Sami Zayn, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker.

With continued run-ins on WWE Raw, it would have made sense to see this tag bout added to the final line up.

However, with the tag team battle between John Cena & Logan Paul and Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso already taking center stage for the event – perhaps it almost makes sense why this bout was left off.

While a tag team match was perhaps unlikely, expect to still see appearances from all four men, with inference likely during Seth Rollins’ attempts to win the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

4. Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill

After their previous match back on April 25 ended in a no contest, there has yet to be a rematch between these two.

With Naomi occupied with the Money in the Bank ladder match and Stratton already having defeated Nia Jax – the other likely candidate seems to be Cargill.

However with Giulia arriving on Friday nights and rumors of Jordynne Grace also getting called up from NXT, perhaps Stratton’s next WWE Women’s Championship feud is being held off for a future opponent.

Since fans also continue to await the return from injury of Asuka – we’ll have to wait and see if there is an entirely new set of foes in store for Tiffany Stratton after Money in the Bank 2025.

3. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez vs. Sky Pirates (IYO SKY & Kairi Sane)

While IYO SKY remains the WWE Women’s World Champion – she has also reunited with her former tag team partner Kairi Sane.

Since Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez continue to hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, a match-up seemed possible even if it weren’t for the titles.

However despite having a run-in on the WWE Raw ahead of Money in the Bank 2025 – no such tag team match ended up coming to fruition.

Perhaps leading to a bigger feud in the future – the bad blood between Liv Morgan and IYO SKY certainly doesn’t appear over.

2. New Day or Street Profits vs. Any Team

The WWE World Tag Team Champions The New Day continue to reign on WWE Raw – but despite a backstage exchange with the Creed Brothers, no match was made for WWE Money in the Bank 2025.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods also seem to be warding off any potential attempt by A-Town Down Under to come for the titles, convincing Grayson Waller to ditch his “sandbag” teammate Austin Theory.

Despite a robust set of teams chasing the Street Profits for the WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown – including #DIY, Motor City Machine Guns, the Wyatt Sicks and Fraxiom – there is also no match set for them at Money in the Bank.

While there is still a chance that perhaps SmackDown will see a match added – it seems as though neither tag titles will be defended this weekend, which is sadly a regular occurrence for WWE PLEs.

1. Jacob Fatu vs. Damian Priest

After successfully beating Drew McIntyre on Saturday Night’s Main Event, it seems that Damian Priest could be next headed for a showdown with Jacob Fatu.

While it is possible that this match could be added to the Money in the Bank card – it seems unlikely at this point.

However, it is still possible that Jacob Fatu could factor into the event in a big way.

With Solo Sikoa in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, it is possible that there could be some interference from JC Mateo and/or Fatu himself.
