As the road to WrestleMania 41 continues, it is entirely possible that there are a handful of new WWE signings waiting in the wings to debut.
From former WWE stars that gave it a go in AEW to a hard hitting star with roots in Japan, there are several top prospects seemingly poised to sign with WWE.
Here are five potential new WWE signings.
5. Rusev (Miro)

After departing AEW, many fans were hopeful that Miro would return to his roots in WWE as Rusev.
Miro previously spent 2010 through 2020 in WWE prior to being released in April 2020.
A new report released just today indicates that he was at WWE headquarters and has re-signed with the company, so this one now appears to be a done deal.
Since the Bulgarian has notable history with John Cena, it would be fun to see the pair tangle again before Cena says his final farewell.

4. Aleister Black

Another AEW alum returning to their original stomping grounds of WWE, Malakai Black has also re-signed and is on his way back.
With eerie vignettes already airing teasing the ominous arrival of some sort of dark force, the belief is that they are meant to point to the return of Aleister Black.
Reportedly Black is planned to return to WWE, although his signing has not been officially announced by the company.
Whether it occurs before or after WrestleMania 41, fans are looking forward to seeing what Black is able to do now that he returns to a Triple H helmed WWE.

3. Lana

While they were reportedly set for divorce, it has been most recently noted that Rusev and his former on-screen and real life partner Lana (CJ Perry) are back together.
With their on-screen partnership linked during their time in WWE, it might make sense to see Lana return alongside Rusev.
Previously the pair also were featured on AEW television together, albeit in a sort of lackluster storyline with Andrade – a dynamic that could always be explored on the WWE stage now.
If nothing else, fans probably wouldn’t mind seeing Lana being put through a table one more time for nostalgia by Nia Jax.

2. Saraya (Paige)

Recently Saraya has confirmed her departure from AEW after having returned to in-ring action.
After having not been in competition for five years, she returned to the ring in AEW and managed to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship during her two-plus years in the company.
While some fans may have been disappointed in her time with AEW, Saraya has commented that she had a great time there, but hasn’t ruled out a potential return to WWE someday.
The former NXT and Divas Champion was one of the foundational members of the women’s division that changed WWE forever, so it would be poetic to see Paige re-sign with WWE.

1. Jeff Cobb

Not every WWE prospective signing has followed the same WWE to AEW and back pipeline.
While NJPW star Jeff Cobb has in fact appeared on AEW TV, he has reportedly impressed WWE enough to be keeping an eye on him.
Cobb has been reported as a free agent albeit continuing to make NJPW appearances.
Bringing his hard hitting and technical style to WWE would bring a brand new ‘Strong Style’ element that could bring about a ton of interesting new rivalries. Hello, Jeff Cobb vs. GUNTHER please – let’s go!
