As Kevin Owens is reportedly injured ahead of WWE WrestleMania 41, that leaves his opponent Randy Orton without a match in Las Vegas.
However, Orton has such a long legacy with many others in the WWE locker room that substituting in another compelling story may be easier than it seems at first glance.
Here are five potential new matches for Randy Orton at WWE WrestleMania 41 to replace Kevin Owens.
5. Solo Sikoa
With Kevin Owens out of the picture, the person on WWE SmackDown who is probably next in line for Randy Orton’s wrath may be Solo Sikoa.
With a deep recent history of conflict to rely on and with Sikoa still absent from any WrestleMania 41 plans, perhaps this is the perfect way to bring him into the fold.
The match result however is where things get a bit murky as it would be odd for Orton to lose but very detrimental to Sikoa to take the L as well.
However, if there are already set-in-stone plans between Sikoa and Fatu that still need to go on, there is another way…

4. LA Knight For The United States Championship
While the exact configuration of the WWE United States Championship match at WrestleMania 41 hasn’t been confirmed yet, there is a chance for Randy Orton to sneak into the match.
At present it appears that Knight could be set to face-off against multiple men for his title in Las Vegas.
With Randy Orton able to easily pop into that match as a spoiler for all involved, it could end up being Knight facing Orton, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
While Orton is likely to still have beef with the Bloodline, it could be really interesting to see Orton and Knight face off as well.

3. Aleister Black
If Kevin Owens is unavailable for WrestleMania, why not partner up Randy Orton with one of the veteran free agents that WWE has reportedly signed.
With vignettes teasing what appears to be the return of Aleister Black headed to WWE, he could absolutely sub in for a feud with Orton.
Also an option – reports have suggested that Rusev is also returning to WWE, another prospect to feud with Randy.
Given the shared history from a previous era in WWE, there could definitely be emotional ground to cover to make the story even more compelling.

2. Wyatt Sicks
The Wyatt Sicks have not been seen on WWE TV in 2025 so far.
While there have been some rumors that there could be something planned for the group in the future with Alexa Bliss, the notion is far from confirmed.
Given the history between the Wyatt Family and Randy Orton, this could be a perfect way to bring back the Wyatts as well as make a pivot in the plans for Randy.
Even if Bliss ends up joining up with the group, there is still history between Bliss and Orton that it could end up coming together quite nicely.

1. Cody Rhodes & John Cena For The Undisputed WWE Championship
Since we just saw Randy Orton tell Cody Rhodes directly that he was looking to get into the WWE Championship picture, this unlikely option could accomplish a lot.
Adding another veteran name with mainstream name recognition to the mix of the WrestleMania 41 main event between Rhodes and John Cena could work.
Even if he isn’t added to the match itself as a participant to make the match a three-way, Orton could always be involved in another capacity.
Randy Orton being the seemingly-Rhodes-leaning special guest referee only to reveal himself in the end to be affiliated with Cena and The Rock all along would be yet another headline-making dramatic betrayal.
