Here are five potential new AEW Championships.

5. Women’s Tag Team Championship

As demonstrated in the upcoming Zero Hour Tornado Tailgate Brawl at AEW All Out 2025, there is already a stacked division amongst active women in competition.

Megan Bayne, Penelope Ford, Julia Hart & Skye Blue are set to take on the four woman team of Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, Queen Aminata & Mina Shirakawa.

Not to mention the likes of Deonna Purrazzo & Taya Valkyrie, Athena & Billie Starkz and Tay Melo and Anna Jay – there are a lot of great reasons for AEW to finally introduce the women’s tag team titles.

Understandably complicating creative by adding an entirely new division to the four hours of weekly TV, perhaps there is some way to make it work.

4. Mixed Tag Team Championship

While fans still await the potential arrival of a AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship, perhaps it would be a better bet to pitch a mixed tag team title.

With a variety of couples in AEW – both real-life and on-screen, there could definitely be a way for this division to work.

Bringing together real-life couples that are on-screen pairs already like Tay Melo and Sammy Guevarra and Taya Valkyrie & Johnny TV, the division could also leave room for intriguing other pairings.

With other real life couples in Anna Jay & Jack Perry and Skye Blue & Kyle Fletcher notably not having interacted on-screen as couples there are fictionalized versions of their stories just waiting to come to life on-screen.

3. Canadian Championship

One title that has yet to be discussed for introduction in AEW but could work is an AEW Canadian Championship.

With a host of proud Canadians on the roster, the title could end up proving to be determined via annual event like a tournament or a battle royal during a tour in Canada.

Alternatively, perhaps it could be introduced as the new prize for winning the Owen Hart Memorial Cup Tournament with the Canadian Championship going on to be defended between tournaments.

Separately an AEW Canadian Championship could stand alone as its own title, providing another mid-card target for members of the roster from around the world.

2. Sicko Championship

AEW could absolutely introduce a title in honor of their fandom – the AEW Sicko Championship.

Reminiscent of the vintage WWE Hardcore Championship, the AEW Sicko Championship would likely have very few rules or restrictions.

Blending the falls count anywhere nature of the also beloved comedic turn of WWE’s 24/7 Championship – this AEW title could literally toggle between being deeply serious, brutal and bloody and fun.

Using the title and whoever claims it as a storyline detail, the concept could be an interesting way to see characters interact on-screen that wouldn’t otherwise normally.

1. Battle Brothers Championship

That name is terrible – but a name can certainly be workshopped! The concept however, could be a fun one.

It was recently reported that AEW previously planned on introducing another interesting family based title – a Father & Son Championship.

More likely a gimmick title versus something meant to stand the test of time, a title for the brothers on the AEW roster could end up bringing about some interesting storylines.

Giving a reason for storylines between the real life brother pairings of the Young Bucks, Austin & Colten Gunn, The Von Erichs and Dante Martin and Darius Martin – this title could be a lot of fun.
