On the June 10 Summer Blockbuster edition of AEW Dynamite, Mark Briscoe announced that he will lead a team against a team led by MJF in a six-on-six Steel Cage Match at Forbidden Door 2026.
The June 17 AEW Dynamite will reveal MJF and Briscoe’s teammates for this high-profile bout on the upcoming pay-per-view.
Considering his alliance with The Don Callis Family, it should be interesting to see Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s choices for his team on June 28.
Here are five potential team members for AEW Forbidden Door 2026.
5. Kevin Knight
Kevin Knight has made it abundantly clear that his sights are directly on the AEW World Championship.
Despite being the current TNT Champion, Knight is focused on becoming “Jet 2 Belts” sooner rather than later.
Now that he is part of the Don Callis Family, “The Jet” wants his hands on the gold and wants to bring it back to his new manager.
After being the first DCF member to step up, it seems like a foregone conclusion that MJF will be picking Knight to be part of his team for this huge Steel Cage showdown.
4. Andrade El Idolo
Since making his return to All Elite Wrestling at the start of 2026, Andrade El Idolo has made it no secret that he wants the AEW World Championship.
This has led to some notable interactions with MJF with El Idolo making it clear that he wants his opportunity.
Despite his feelings being clear, Don Callis doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to get Andrade the title shot that he long desires.
Andrade might view this Steel Cage Match as the best way to put himself into position to challenge for the AEW World Title coming out of AEW Forbidden Door 2026.
3. Mark Davis
Throughout 2026 so far, Mark Davis has been one of the breakout stars on the AEW roster.
With his size, power and intensity, Davis has become a key player that has delivered quality bouts with a wide range of opponents.
“Dunkzilla” is usually pegged as the Don Callis Family member who can be counted on to deliver the goods for this stable.
If MJF wants someone he knows will bring the punishment to their opponents, he would be wise to make sure Davis is part of his team for the Forbidden Door 2026 pay-per-view.
2. Kyle Fletcher
At AEW Double Or Nothing 2026, Kyle Fletcher made his return to the company and immediately showed his allegiance to the Don Callis Family by attacking AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita.
Despite having his eyes set on the International Title, “The Protostar” is considered the “chosen one” of the Don Callis Family.
If MJF wants the best that Don Callis Family has to offer, it doesn’t get any better than Kyle Fletcher.
Having Fletcher on his squad gives MJF the best chance at winning against Mark Briscoe’s team and making sure his rival doesn’t earn a shot at the AEW World Title.
1. Kazuchika Okada
When Don Callis recruited Kazuchika Okada into the Family, it made his faction more powerful than ever.
“The Rainmaker” has been a champion in All Elite Wrestling since his arrival in 2024 and might be looking to throw his name in the hat for a shot at the AEW World Title.
MJF wants the best that Don Callis Family has to offer and might not find anyone on the level of Okada in this stable.
While he remains focused on regaining the International Title, Okada could help MJF and The Don Callis Family to victory in the Steel Cage Match at the AEW Forbidden Door 2026 event on June 28.
