Looking ahead to the 2026 WWE Money in the Bank ladder matches, there are already predictions as to who might take home the briefcases.
WWE only crowned this year’s Money in the Bank winners in June, but both contracts have already been cashed in by Naomi and Seth Rollins.
Looking ahead to next year, here are six potential 2026 WWE Money in the Bank winners.
6. Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes has just picked up his second Undisputed WWE Championship, but there is a lot of time between now and next summer.
With Money in the Bank 2026 presumably set to take place around the same time as this year, Cody would need to keep the title through Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 42 just to name a few if he’s to still be champion heading into next year’s MITB.
Perhaps set to be in a different place by the time the Money in the Bank ladder match rolls around, Rhodes never fails to impress in ladder matches.
Paving the way for WWE to sell thousands of Money in the Bank briefcases styled in Rhodes’ signature red, white and blue branding, Rhodes could be a business-smart winner for next year.

5. Dominik Mysterio

It’s hard to know if Dominik Mysterio will still be technically a heel (that fans adore) or will have jumped to being a full babyface by Money in the Bank next year, but it doesn’t matter too much either way.
Mysterio has had an intriguing run thus far as WWE Intercontinental Champion, but it would seem that the title is likely to move along within the next year.
However, if Dirty Dom were to capture the Money in the Bank briefcase, he would be able to use his cunning dirtbag skills all year long to scheme a way to get championship gold back.
Dom would also likely sell a bunch of custom briefcases as a certified merch mover.

4. Jade Cargill

A storm could be coming to the Money in the Bank ladder match in 2026.
After already having several high-profile matches in WWE, Jade Cargill has yet to secure a big singles championship victory.
Given that she continues to get close but not quite capturing a singles title, perhaps the Money in the Bank briefcase could help secure that landmark.
Creating an ominous threat across brands, it would be intriguing to see if Cargill targeted old rivals like Naomi or Bianca Belair or went after someone entirely new.

3. Natalya

WWE veteran Natalya has participated in five Money in the Bank ladder matches but has never picked up the win.
Very deserving of the opportunity to shine beyond her current presentation, seeing a big Money in the Bank victory for Natalya would be nice, but seeing one for Nattie Neidhart would be even better.
With Natalya already workshopping her more vicious side throughout the independent circuit – performing as Nattie Neidhart and donning the moniker ‘Low-Key Legend’ on her gear – a Money in the Bank ladder match opportunity could prove to be the thing that summons that version of her to WWE.
Following in the footsteps of this year’s arc with Naomi, it could be that 2026 is Nattie’s time to shine in WWE.

2. Sami Zayn

Fan favorite Sami Zayn has continued to have the ongoing storyline of failing to achieve one big goal.
Zayn has never been a WWE World Champion – an achievement that could potentially come by way of a briefcase.
With fans still clearly eager to see Sami Zayn finish his story and capture a World Championship, maybe the Money in the Bank ladder match is the way to ensure it happens.
Sure to create a triumphant moment in victory, Zayn could make for an emotionally conflicted briefcase holder as he has several noted strong friendships across the roster to ramp up the drama surrounding his tenure with the contract.

1. Chelsea Green

A WWE star who has certainly proven themselves able to do whatever it takes is Chelsea Green.
After an impressive showing in the Money in the Bank ladder match in 2024, Green unfortunately didn’t make the qualifying cut in 2025.
Still riding the high of her fan favorite status despite being a heel, Green continues to engage in fun feuds but could take her over the top character to the next level with her own custom Money in the Bank briefcase.
Another honorable mention would be Candice LeRae after her stunning performance as a run-in during the TLC match at SummerSlam 2025 in support of DIY.
