At WWE Night of Champions 2026, the company will crown this year’s King of the Ring with the tournament finals.
The winner of the King of the Ring will go on to challenge for the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2026.
With the tournament coming to a close at the premium live event, it should be interesting to see what the finals will be come June 27 at WWE Night of Champions.
Here are six potential 2026 WWE King of the Ring Finals.
6. LA Knight vs. Sami Zayn
On the May 25 edition of Monday Night Raw, LA Knight announced that he would be the first participant to compete in the King of the Ring tournament this year.
With the tournament set to start on the June 1 Raw, Knight will look to earn an opportunity to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship later this summer.
Meanwhile, Sami Zayn has emerged as someone who has become frustrated with his current position and obsessed with one day becoming a world champion.
In the King of the Ring Finals, it would be appropriate for Knight to face off with Zayn to determine who will go on to challenge for the gold at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
5. Bron Breakker vs. Royce Keys
At WWE Backlash 2026, Bron Breakker defeated Seth Rollins in what was the biggest win of his career.
Breakker seems like the star who is riding a ton of momentum heading into the King of the Ring tournament.
On Friday Night SmackDown, Royce Keys recently debuted on the WWE main roster and has since become one of the most featured stars on the blue brand.
After winning the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal ahead of WrestleMania 42, Keys could be on his way to the King of the Ring Finals where he would be a formidable opponent for someone like Breakker.
4. Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton
Since returning to WWE at the start of 2026, Seth Rollins has made it clear that he has two missions.
Rollins wants to destroy what he created with The Vision and regain the World Heavyweight Championship he never lost.
Meanwhile, Randy Orton has not been seen on WWE television since losing to Cody Rhodes in an Undisputed WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 42.
Orton returning to the company to advance to the King of the Ring Finals might lead to a WrestleMania 31 rematch at WWE Night of Champions 2026.
3. Seth Rollins vs. Trick Williams
While he recently lost to Bron Breakker at WWE Backlash 2026, Seth Rollins feels like someone who has the credentials to go far in this year’s King of the Ring tournament.
Looking at the Friday Night SmackDown roster, Trick Williams has become the fastest rising star on the blue brand.
The current United States Champion should be able to outlast the talent on SmackDown to make it deep into the King of the Ring tournament this year.
Having a first time ever matchup in the finals, Trick vs. Seth would be an exciting showdown for many fans looking to see who will earn a world title opportunity at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
2. Oba Femi vs. Randy Orton
At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two, Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar in what was the biggest win in his young career.
After the match, Lesnar looked to tease a retirement when he removed his gloves and boots in the ring before embracing his longtime advocate, Paul Heyman.
To continue his march to the top of WWE, the company could have Femi oppose another legend if he decides to enter the King of the Ring tournament.
Randy Orton making it to the King of the Ring Finals from the SmackDown side would be an excellent opponent for “The Ruler” to prove he is ready for the next step in his meteoric rise in the company.
1. Oba Femi vs. Jacob Fatu
Despite his status in this year’s King of the Ring tournament currently being uncertain, Oba Femi does seem like the odds-on favorite to win the crown.
“The Ruler” is still riding high after defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 and could be on his way to a second victory over “The Beast” at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.
Meanwhile, Jacob Fatu is set to challenge his cousin Roman Reigns in Tribal Combat for the World Heavyweight Championship at the same premium live event.
If Fatu loses, he will be forced to follow Reigns and join The Bloodline. However, Fatu is part of the SmackDown roster, so he may enter the 2026 WWE King of the Ring and could be a favorite to make it to the finals against Femi at Night of Champions 2026.
