Coming off the heels of an unforgettable AEW Full Gear 2025 event, the company returns to pay-per-view for the upcoming AEW Worlds End 2025 show at the end of the year.
On December 27, the final major show of 2025 will take place with the finals of the Continental Classic and scores being settled before the calendar changes over to 2026.
From title matches to big time stipulations to settle the score, the Worlds End card will offer a lot of different showdowns that may alter the landscape for the company heading into the new year.
Here are 10 matches to be potentially added to the AEW Worlds End 2025 card.
10. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kyle Fletcher – Continental Classic Semi-Final
AEW Worlds End 2025 will be centered around the Continental Classic semifinals and final taking place at the event.
At AEW Full Gear 2025, Kyle Fletcher called out his two friends in the Don Callis Family, Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada, for putting him in the middle of their rivalry and not helping him in his loss against Mark Briscoe for the TNT Title at the event,
Not wanting to wait to become a champion, ‘The Protostar’ joined both Okada and Takeshita in the Continental Classic tournament.
Seeing how much AEW has invested in this storyline, it seems like a no-brainer that the Callis Family members clash in one of the semifinal matches with Fletcher and Takeshita doing battle to see who is better out of Protoshita and move on to the finals.

9. Kazuchika Okada vs. Claudio Castagnoli – Continental Classic Semi-Final
While All Elite Wrestling has given fans some hints on one of the semifinal matches, the other is a little more difficult to predict looking at the field for the Continental Classic.
It seems likely that all three Don Callis Family members in the tournament will move on to create some tension within the group at AEW Worlds End 2025.
Facing ‘The Rainmaker’ in Chicago, there could be any number of competitors from the Blue League who could potentially advance to the finals later in the pay-per-view.
However, the dynamic between Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli in the Death Riders should see Claudio beat his leader to move on to the semifinals against Okada at AEW Worlds End.

8. Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Willow Nightingale – AEW TBS Championship
Mercedes Moné’s bid to hold 14 titles at the same time failed at the hands of Kris Statlander who retained the AEW Women’s World Championship at Full Gear 2025.
Following this loss, Moné should look to reestablish herself as a champion by defending her TBS Championship at the final pay-per-view event of 2025 for AEW.
At AEW Worlds End 2025, Moné could go one-on-one with another woman who owns a victory over her in Willow Nightingale.
In a full circle moment, Nightingale and Moné could settle the score between the two of them with their record currently standing at 1-1 through two matches and deliver an instant classic in Chicago on December 27.

7. The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) vs. The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander, Mark Davis & Hechicero)
At the AEW Full Gear 2025 pay-per-view, The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander defeated Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express to win $1 million.
After a five-on-one beatdown by Don Callis Family on Omega, Matt and Nick Jackson chose their friendship with “The Cleaner” over the money dropping their bags and going to help their fallen brother against the faction.
This led to The Young Bucks shaking hands with Jack Perry and Luchasaurus before hugging Omega to reunite The Elite.
With the premier stable in AEW back together for one final run, fans should see Omega and The Bucks team up at Worlds End 2025 against a combination of the Don Callis Family led by Alexander, who has plenty of animosity towards all three men.

6. FTR (c) vs. Brodido vs. Bang Bang Gang vs. JetSpeed – AEW World Tag Team Championship
In one of several title changes on the night, FTR defeated Brodido to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Full Gear 2025.
Claiming their third title win in AEW, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler proved themselves to still be the best duo in all of wrestling today.
However, FTR suffered some key losses in tag team and multi-man competition against two different teams heading into their title win in The Bang Bang Gang and JetSpeed.
Taking those prior non-title losses into account, FTR could walk into AEW Worlds End 2025 with the numbers not in their favor as they defend the titles against Brodido, JetSpeed and Bang Bang Gang in a four-way bout.

5. Sisters of Sin vs. Timeless Love Bombs – AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament Final
The AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament is down to the final four pairings to determine who will be the inaugural champions.
On the November 26 edition of AEW Dynamite, fans will find out the first finalist in the tournament when Babes of Wrath face Sisters of Sin in the first semifinal match.
Meanwhile following their win at AEW Full Gear 2025, Timeless Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa now have the right to choose the stipulation for their upcoming showdown with Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir in the semifinals.
Trying to put a bow on their issues stemming from the ending of the Women’s Blood & Guts, the final matches of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament could see Timeless Love Bombs looking for revenge against Sisters of Sin on December 27.

4. Kris Statlander (c) vs. Marina Shafir – AEW Women’s World Championship
At AEW Full Gear 2025, Kris Statlander defeated Mercedes Moné to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Now avenging her prior losses to “The CEO,” Statlander has put Mercedes in her rearview mirror and vanquished both of the top stars in the AEW women’s division in her first two defenses after defeating Timeless Toni Storm at WrestleDream 2025.
With Statlander putting two tough tests behind her, there could be any number of challengers who could be next to step up to the current AEW Women’s World Champion.
Based off their history this year and interaction during the Women’s Blood & Guts, it makes a ton of sense for Marina Shafir to step up to the plate to challenge Statlander and get her first crack at the gold at AEW Worlds End 2025.

3. The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta & PAC) vs. Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy & Paragon (Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong)
Despite some notable losses since AEW All In Texas 2025, it feels like The Death Riders are on their last legs.
At AEW Full Gear 2025, Jon Moxley tapped out yet again when he lost to Kyle O’Reilly in a No Holds Barred Match.
The final pay-per-view of the year for All Elite Wrestling should see The Death Riders put a united front against their enemies, which include Darby Allin and The Conglomeration.
Another loss to the unit of Allin, Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong could be just what is needed to finally bring an end to The Death Riders once and for all.

2. Samoa Joe (c) vs. Hangman Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland – AEW World Championship
The ending of AEW Full Gear 2025 saw Samoa Joe win the AEW World Title in a Steel Cage match against Hangman Adam Page after HOOK turned heel and reunited with The Opps.
However, the show didn’t close with that and instead saw Swerve Strickland make his return to All Elite Wrestling for the first time since August to fight off The Opps and stand side-by-side with his former arch nemesis Hangman Page.
After this noteworthy close to the last major show, it would be logical to see these key figures do battle for the top prize of AEW in Chicago.
Samoa Joe defending the AEW World Title against Hangman and Swerve would put all the past differences between these three men into play in a dramatic three-way clash at AEW Worlds End 2025.

1. Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita Continental Classic Final For The AEW Unified Championship
As previously stated, the Continental Classic will most likely be centered on the ongoing drama within the Don Callis Family and finally see a clash between its two central figures.
Over the past few months, fans have watched as Kazuchika Okada has continued to purposely get under the skin of his Don Callis Family stablemate Konosuke Takeshita.
While Okada has been a thorn in his side, Takeshita has found himself being gaslighted by Callis and the rest of the faction, while he continues to try to make things work with “The Rainmaker” despite their differences.
The finals of the C2 should see this all come to a head with Takeshita fighting Okada for the AEW Unified Championship and to determine who is the greatest tournament wrestler in the company in front of a red-hot crowd in Chicago on December 27.
