Trick Williams opened up about how he’s been preparing for the upcoming WWE Money in the Bank 2026 ladder match including one odd detail.
A forever prankster, Trick Williams is hilarious both his in-ring segments as well as media appearances but one recent joke he cracked has raised eyebrows.
Climbing ladders daily
While working out with Big E on the WWE official YouTube channel, Trick Williams joked that while he isn’t a big fan of heights, he has been practicing at home.
Trick Williams joked:
“I don’t do the heights too much. To overcome my fear, with Lash being in the match herself, I go to Home Depot every single day and I bring home a ladder. We practice climbing the ladder and coming down. We go to the attic and come back down. We got to the roof and come back down.
“Every single day. I got her changing stuff, chandeliers, everything. Just climbing and getting used to it, then come back down. ‘Hey, that wasn’t fast enough. We gotta do it fast and beat that time.’ Been climbing a lot of ladders.”
Definitely worth the watch, it was clear in the video that Trick was joking – however, makes an excellent point regarding his general weariness of heights.
Trick in the Bank 2026

Trick Williams has become a two-time United States Champion since his main roster call up.
With the rising popularity of Trick Williams, it would make total sense to see him capture the briefcase at this weekend’s WWE Money in the Bank 2026.
Entering the match as a current champion, holding SmackDown’s United States Championship at present, Williams could end up cementing his main event status by capturing the briefcase.
While the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match seems much more likely to yield a surprise victory, it doesn’t mean that Trick Williams couldn’t topple current odds on favorite, PENTA.
First ever Mr. & Mrs. Money in the Bank?

There could be an iconic first after the dust settles on this year’s titular ladder match – the first ever Mr. & Mrs. Money in the Bank.
With both Trick Williams and his real-life wife Lash Legend competing in the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches respectively, there could be an amazing opportunity for both to come out on top.
Definitely an impressive duo, the pair could revolutionize the Money in the Bank briefcase with their very own special His & Hers editions.
Who will win WWE Money in the Bank 2026?

With a competitive field, it’s hard to know exactly who will be taking home the briefcases this year. With continued speculation surrounding potential wins planned for PENTA and Roxanne Perez, we’ll have to stay tuned to see if the spoilers prove to be true.
