WWE Star Dominik Mysterio’s Wife’s Reaction To Him Becoming A Wrestler

WWE star Dominik Mysterio has revealed his wife’s reaction to him first starting training to become a wrestler.

Mysterio has now been an established member of the WWE roster for a few years, making his official in-ring debut at SummerSlam 2020.

In a new interview posted by WWE, Mysterio explained how his journey started, and his wife’s reaction to it at the time.

He recalled:

“I was around 260 pounds. Just… lost.

“My wife now, girlfriend at the time, she knew it, and I told her, ‘There’s this opportunity, I might go and train in Tampa for six months, but I don’t really wanna do it. I don’t wanna leave.’

“I just remember I started crying, just f**king balling up.

“She looks at me and she’s like, ‘Dom, you have to go. You’ve gotta do this.'”

This Saturday, in his hometown of San Diego, Mysterio challenges John Cena for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Survivor Series in a return match from when Cena won the title from Mysterio on Raw a couple of weeks ago.
