What Happened With Cody Rhodes After WWE Raw

Cody Rhodes may have locked horns with Shinsuke Nakamura on WWE Raw, but he was still intent on the fans going home happy.

The December 18 episode of WWE Raw saw Nakamura deliver a very personal message to Rhodes while reading “The American Nightmare Before Christmas”.

In typically disturbing fashion, Nakamura turned poet, saying:

“Twas the week before Christmas and out from my mouth

“Came a warning to Cody that Shinsuke would pounce.

“While your daughter is nested, all snug in her bed.

“And visions of championships dance through your head.

“Shinsuke is plotting to live out your story,

“To ruin your plans and extinguish your glory.

“The nightmare is over, the nightmare is through.

“The mist burns its eyes, for the nightmare is you.

“You b*stard, you cancer, you Prancer, you nitwit.

“You’re vomit, you’re stupid, your father was inbred.

“My goal is to see that you’re living in fright.

“Merry Christmas to you, I will be your last fight.”

This didn’t go down well with Rhodes who promptly attacked Nakamura with the pair brawling through the backstage area.

Eventually, they would get to the ringside area, with security intervening to get Nakamura away.

Close to hitting a Cross Rhodes on the commentary table, security were able to get Nakamura out of Rhodes’ hands just in time!

Footage from the chaos can be seen below this news story along with what happened after the show.

After WWE Raw, a much calmer Cody Rhodes came to the ring to join the Creed Brothers who had been unable to defeat Judgment Day.

With a Christmas tree in the centre of the ring, it was up to Ivy Nile to choose a winner.

Rhodes wouldn’t be sure how the winner would get the tree home but wished the fans a “great holiday season” and new year.
