A WWE champion is set to wrestle a current AEW star in a first-time-ever encounter next month in Tomball, Texas.
Former New Texas Pro Champion and current AEW star Bryan Keith is set to make his return to WrestleRave on February 7.
His opponent for the upcoming show has now been confirmed as WWE ID Champion Cappuccino Jones.
The first-time-ever match was confirmed by Jack Irene of WrestleRave, ahead of the show at 403 Eats in Tomball, Texas.
Bryan Keith signed with AEW in February 2024 and has gone on to team with Big Bill, previously as ‘The Bad Apple’ in the Chris Jericho-led The Learning Tree and now as ‘The Bounty Hunter’.
Cappuccino Jones previously appeared on AEW Rampage back in February 2024, teaming with Jonny Lyons in a losing effort to Young Bucks.
As an independent wrestler, he would sign under the WWE ID program later that year, going on to be a regular fixture in Evolve.
A victory at GCW The ID Showcase in August last year would see Jones become the inaugural WWE ID Champion, defeating Jack Cartwheel in the tournament final.
Jones recently defended the WWE ID Championship for the first time in the Netherlands, beating Ricky Sosa at PWG Live X on January 18.
