A WWE talent has officially moved to AAA, making his debut with a new gimmick during the recent Verano De Escandalo tapings.

During the May 3 episode of WWE LFG, Shawn Michaels told Evolve and LFG talent Drake Morreaux that while there wasn’t a spot for him on NXT, there was a “huge opportunity” for him in AAA.

Almost three months later, Morreaux has debuted for the brand, attacking a AAA star during tapings for Verano De Escandalo.

As you can see in the video below, Morreaux appeared in overalls and a mask, attacking Psycho Clown in the crowd.

This also seems to reveal that Morreaux has been the mystery attacker who has been laying out members of Los Psycho Circus.

Psycho Clown’s attack was teased on the June 27 AAA episode, with the group finding Pagano attacked in the locker room, with the words “Psycho, you are next” written on the mirror.

Morreaux was one of the longest tenured Performance Center athletes yet to debut on NXT TV. Despite this, he has technically wrestled on the main roster, teaming with Javier Bernal to lose to the Authors of Pain in a squash match on the February 16, 2024 SmackDown episode.

Since then, Morreaux has wrestled on Level Up, Evolve, LFG and at house shows. Interestingly, The Undertaker – who works as a booker in AAA – was a coach for Drake Morreaux during the first season of WWE LFG.

WWE owning AAA gives wrestlers another platform to showcase themselves away from the Performance Center.

Following previous WWE main roster – AAA crossover, CM Punk has now teased making his debut for the Mexico-based brand.
