The official cover star for the main version of WWE 2K26 has been revealed today ahead of the Royal Rumble premium live event.
Today in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, WWE held the Royal Rumble Kickoff show a few hours before SmackDown hosted by Michael Cole.
The Kickoff show played host to the unveiling of the main cover for the upcoming WWE 2K26 video game.
In recent weeks, three alternate versions of the game were revealed in the Attitude Era edition, the Monday Night War edition, and the King of Kings edition.
The Attitude Era and Monday Night War editions both feature numerous stars from those particular time periods.
Meanwhile, the King of Kings edition features Triple H on the cover.
As for the main edition of the game that was unveiled today, the solo cover star for that version is CM Punk.
This is the first time Punk has featured on a WWE video game cover since WWE 13, so this is the first time he’s been on a cover since 2K took over from THQ.
Commenting on the cover reveal during the Kickoff show, Punk said:
“It is my pleasure and honor, as a little kid I could only dream of being on the cover of a video game and now I’m joining some esteemed dignitaries who have been on the cover twice.”
