Uhaa Nation – formerly Apollo Crews in WWE – has taken to Instagram to reveal that he has been helping Ricochet (Trevor Mann) to prepare for All In London, with Nation currently studying for his MCs in Sport Nutrition.

Discussing working with AEW star Ricochet, Nation wrote:

Over the past few months, I have been working on my MSc in Sport Nutrition, with @theiopn as well as my CNC with @cleanhealthfitnessinstitute and @biolayne, with the goal of eventually branching into coaching, working with elite athletes, as well as the general population. I have always been fascinated with the human body, and the mechanisms behind what makes it do the things it does.

I love diving deep into nutritional science, but even more, I love taking what I have learned and applying it, as I have done with myself for many years. The next step for me was taking that and applying it with other individuals.

Trevor and I have been friends for more years than he or I can count, and I won’t go into the history of our friendship, but our Snapchat streak is approaching 900 days, so that lets you know it’s official.

Trevor put a lot of trust in me in helping him get ready for All In. I asked him to let me experiment on him and apply all of what I have been learning, and with his discipline and motivation, we were able to accomplish something solid.

His words were “I didn’t want to let you down.” My reply was “There is no way you could have.” My focus was to make sure his training was properly fueled, so there was no dip in his performance, as well as making sure we didn’t cut calories unless necessary.

This was a collaborative effort; I asked him to give me as much feedback and detail as possible. We started by establishing a baseline, which he responded to extremely well, and from there we dialed in even more as All In got closer. In total from the beginning, he dropped around 6lbs starting at 188, and his most previous weigh in being 182. Super proud of you, my dawg!

Big shoutout to @samanthathebomb for making sure this man was fed! She was a huge part of this collaboration, and we love you for it. @kingricochet

Ricochet is set to compete in the Trios Royal Roulette on Sunday, for the AEW World Trios Championship. This match will see “Hangman” Adam Page and Brodido defend against Ricochet, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona, David Finlay, Clark Connors & Gabe Kidd, Claudio Castagnoli, Pac & Wheeler Yuta, Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong, Jay White, Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn, and a Wild Card team.

“Apollo Crews” was released by WWE in April. He made his TNA Wrestling debut at Slammiversary in June, competing in a three-way bout for the International Championship against Rich Swann and champion Mustafa Ali.

He has yet to wrestle for TNA since, and hasn’t been added to the company’s roster page at the time of writing.
