A former WWE Tag Team Champion has commented ahead of facing a potential WWE target, ahead of home promotion departure rumors.
Following reports that NJPW David Finlay had been exploring potential options in the US ahead of his contract expiring, the former IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion appeared to bid farewell to the Japanese crowd at The New Beginning in Osaka.
With rumors swirling about Finlay potentially joining his father (Fit Finlay) and brother (Uriah Connors) in WWE, there has been a lot of speculation surrounding Finlay’s upcoming match against Fred Rosser at The New Beginning USA.
Rosser – who wrestled in WWE as Darren Young – commented on this upcoming match while speaking on Paltrocast with Darren Paltrowitz.
Warning Finlay that he will be “very dangerous” come February 27, Rosser said:
“I’m doing well, keeping it moving here at the Los Angeles dojo, inspiring the youth, getting ready for my big match coming up next week against Dave Finlay.
“This is a big show for me in Trenton. I get asked a lot, what’s my preparation? Well, for me, I stay ready so I don’t have to get ready.
“To be honest with you, I’m probably over-prepared for this matchup, which makes me very dangerous.”
