The cause of death for AEW star PAC (Benjamin Satterley) has been revealed to be bronchial asthma, with his passing ruled natural.
On September 27, All Elite Wrestling announced the sudden passing of PAC less than 24 hours after he wrestled Andrade El Idolo at the AEW All Out pay-per-view event in Chicago.
Satterley was found by a passer-by unconscious behind the wheel of a rental car, with them calling 911 and him being pronounced as dead minutes after getting to the scene.
It was reported that there was no suspicious activity suspect in regards to his passing, and now more details, including the cause of his death, have come to light.
Per the New York Post, a spokesperson for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office told the California Post on Monday that, following a probe into his sudden death, investigators concluded Satterley passed away from bronchial asthma.
The manner of his death was officially ruled natural.
AEW held a tribute episode of Dynamite in memory of PAC the following week on Dynamite, with Tony Khan going on to call it the greatest episode of Dynamite ever produced by the company.
