Money In The Bank Qualifying Matches Confirmed For WWE Raw

Two Money In The Bank qualifying matches have been confirmed for tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.

With the next premium live event on WWE’s calendar being the Money In The Bank event in New Orleans next month, it was announced last week on Raw that qualifying matches for the titular matches would begin on tonight’s episode of the show.

WWE once again confirmed that Money In The Bank qualifiers would begin tonight during last night’s Sunday Night’s Main Event broadcast, though the participants in the matches were not revealed.

Money In The Bank Qualifiers Begin On Raw

Taking to social media ahead of tonight’s WWE Raw show, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that qualifiers for the men’s and women’s Money In The Bank match would in fact be taking place tonight, officially revealing the first six wrestlers fighting for the spot.

On the men’s side, Rey Mysterio, Ethan Page and Bron Breakker will face off for a spot in this year’s Ladder match, while the women’s qualifier will see a three-way between Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria and Maxxine Dupri.

Bron Breakker will enter the match with some more backup by his side following the return of Big Bronson Reed at Sunday Night’s Main Event last night.

Who Will Qualify For The Money In The Bank?

While there are a number of great options for the Money In The Bank Ladder match across the two qualifying matches on tonight’s show, it seems relatively simple who we are going to see qualifying tonight on Raw.

On the men’s side, Bron Breakker has been undergoing a refresh on his push after a quiet few months, which included he and Bronson Reed destroying Oba Femi last night at Sunday Night’s Main Event.

While it would be fun to see either Rey Mysterio or Ethan Page in the match, and the matches being three-ways makes it possible to beat Breakker without the need for him to be pinned, it seems unlikely that WWE aren’t going to run with Bron for the spot.

On the women’s side, both Sol Ruca and Lyra Valkyria had been tipped as potential winners over the past few months, but it seems as though one is going to miss out on the match.

That will likely end up being Lyra, with her being cost the qualifier by the returning Bayley, allowing Sol Ruca to enter.
