MJF Wants Match With NJPW Star To Stop Comparisons

Share

With a relationship between AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling taking shape, many dream matches are on people’s minds. One of them is between two of the top heels in all of wrestling, MJF and Jay White.

During his recent appearance on the Wrestling Perspective podcast, MJF said he would like to have that match. However, he wants to have it to stop the comparisons between them. Here is the quote, courtesy of Wrestle Zone:

“I must be tweeted in about 1000 Tweets a day with a guy named Jay White, and I’m getting real sick of it. Okay, I’m gonna be honest, I have not seen enough of this man’s stuff. But I can tell you this. Nobody’s on my level. So I would like to have that match just to quell any ridiculousness that is these comparisons.”

There has been a lot of talk about Bullet Club getting involved with AEW of late. Tama Tonga continues to disparage the promotion while The Elite continues to call themselves Bullet Club. Whether or not this could lead to a dream match between MJF and White remains to be seen.
