Liv Morgan has addressed her return at tonight’s WWE Survivor Series 2025 premium live event in San Diego, California.
Morgan made her comeback to WWE by interfering in the Intercontinental Championship match between John Cena and Dominik Mysterio.
After first making it seem like she was returning by turning on Mysterio, it was all a ruse and she low blowed Cena before striking him with the title belt, allowing Mysterio to pick up the victory and win the title back.
Morgan, who it’s no secret was a fan of Cena when she was younger, has now reacted after getting involved in Cena’s last ever PLE match, and the penultimate match of his WWE career.
First, Morgan simply posted a photo of herself wearing John Cena‘s signature shirt and outfit from a WWE photoshoot back in 2022.
Then, WWE released a video of Morgan and Mysterio backstage post-match, which saw Mysterio say:
“What did I tell you? Dirty Dom, King of the Luchadores.
“Apparently, someone who’s never seen 17 now got beaten by a two-time Intercontinental Champion.
“Thanks to my guerita.”

Morgan then added:
“We are so f**king back.”
Later during the post-show after the event had concluded, Morgan explained:
“As great as it’s been watching Dominik thrive and have so much fun without me, I thought today of all days, I’d just show up. Pop up a little surprise.”

Morgan had been out of action since June due to a shoulder injury.
Now that she’s back, she’s also been added to the women’s WWE WrestleMania 42 trailer alongside Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, IYO SKY, Rhea Ripley, Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill.
