A former WWE star was spotted at in attendance at tonight’s March 4 episode of WWE NXT at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
The main event of tonight’s show saw Shawn Spears defeat Tony D’Angelo for the NXT North American Championship.
The win marks the first time Spears has held a title in the WWE system since his reign with the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship alongside Nic Nemeth 17 years ago.
While most of the crowd was behind D’Angelo tonight, Spears did have a fan in attendance in the form of his wife Cassie Lee.
Cassie Lee is the former Peyton Royce, who had a run in WWE alongside Jessica McKay (Billie Kay) as The IIconics a few years ago, including a reign as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Lee recently returned to in-ring action herself after being out since October 2023, as she had a match against Alexia Nicole at SMASH Wrestling Rumble this past weekend.
McKay is set to return to action too having not wrestled since April 2022, as The IIconics reunite during WrestleMania week in Las Vegas to face Kylie Rae and Nicole Matthews at Prestige Wrestling’s Nothing To Lose show.
